The EXACT same thing happened with 360 & PS3, where the year and price advantage helped the 360. And it happened AGAIN this gen in half of europe, where the PS4 game 1 year earlier than the Xbone and for 100€ less.
Btw, power is the least of Xbone's problems. Being the most powerful console my a margin of 30% doesn't make or break any company, it never did. It won't repair all the other problems the Xbone currently has.
