It's a fucking wolf you autist

He's named D-Dog though.
Not D-Wolf

Checkmate hueycucks.

Wolfdog

...

...

This isn't Sup Forums

He was never a villain.

Can someone fill me in on what Huey did in Peace Walker and 5, aside from killing his own wife or something? PW/PP are the only metal gear games I haven't played

i hated huey so much after GZ/PP

Huey was a decent guy in PW. He was basically crippled Otacon.

He eventually got sick of BB and Kaz's shit and helped XOF destroy Mother Base.
That's what Kaz thinks happened.

Most likely is he didn't really have anything to do with the destruction of old mother base, cracked after losing his "home", became a crazy paranoid man, killed Strangelove, became a compulsive liar and he got kicked out of the new mother base.

Then he got cucked by his own son. Like a hero.

read the wiki.

He did nothing wrong.

LOL

He was one of us

Huey was Hal in Peace Walker. He exposed tech specs he had no way of knowing, and build a metal gear.

In Ground Zeroes Huey went behind Big Boss' and Miller's back and invited the "UN Inspectors" which turned out to be XOF. It's my impression it seemed he was being blackmailed on those tapes in GZ but the details of what happened were never given exposition.

In TPP it seemed everyone already knew he was behind the treason in GZ so they locked him up to force him to develop weapons for him. Yet somehow he was blamed for an outbreak on Motherbase, and the fact he lied about killing Strangelove and used Hal to prototype Sahelanthropus was pretty much all the proof that was brought against him.

For an army made of traitors and defectors that seems like weak fucking evidence to me.

He also made calls to America using a radio he built and hid from the Motherbase staff.
Calls were made right before the mother base infection.

The fact that he killed Strangelove, or even just let her die, is enough to throw him off the edge of MB.

...

>In Ground Zeroes Huey went behind Big Boss' and Miller's back

No he didn't, both of them knew full well the "inspectors" were coming and Huey had no connection to them until they abducted him.

But Miller and Boss declined the initial request for an inspection, then later, Huey sent a message saying MSF accepted. Boss was stuck going along with it because changing their mind would look too suspicious .

Everyone here beside hueycuck

From what I recall he was merely accused of building his own radio or sat-phone and all his trials or interrogation tapes never actually showed Motherbase finding it.

Which is a big deal because during Shining Lights Even in Death there was a fuckton of implausible shit was happening. The Vocal Cord Parasites went from simply multiplying and eating out the host's throat and lungs to taking over the minds of the soldiers. Further there happened to be an entire flock of birds waiting on the helipad to spread the host to the mainland, which isn't even visible from Motherbase.

I was fully expecting Psycho Mantis to be behind the change in the behavior.

>WW Ganandorf
>Brad
I honestly never seen anyone accuse them of doing something wrong

Huey being """RIGHT""" was not a result of his character, it was a result of him being scared, he setup motherbase because he was scared of cipher and skullface, he built battlegear and zeke because he was scared of MSF and DD, he's just a scared little man who will never standup for himself.

Strangelove was right about him. I'm not going to use stupid meme-speak like cuck or beta, but he is a man who does not stand by his morals, does not stand up for himself, he is a scared pathetic nothing.

Strangelove is the real ""Villain" that was correct. You might not agree with her, but she is the only person who really understood The Boss.

To be fair, I think Huey's intentions in that regard were pure. He didn't want all eyes on MSF because of what they were developing. The quickest way to get the world watching is to deny people access, much like Iraq and the UN inspectors in the late 90s/early 2000s.

I don't think he was in cahoots, at least not at that point.

Back in the boat with you.

>(((villains)))
oy vey
shut it down

>but she is the only person who really understood The Boss
Writing a fanfic where a historical person agrees with you, is isn't the same has having an agreement with that person.

She was The Boss's lover and proved in the PW tapes that she understood her vision of a world united, what are you on about user? Did you not understand Strangelove or are you just being a contradictory faggot?

Strangelove got the closest, I'll agree with you there user, but the irony is that no one understood what the boss wanted, her ramble at the end of MGS3 was meant to be vague and hard to understand, and due to this, most people assign their own morals to the boss, instead of listening.

What she really wanted is for the philosophers to be reunited, as she says like 4 times in the speech, because she thinks that humanity needs to be controlled from the shadows to have peace.

She was just as misguided as everyone else, no one in MGS has a complete answer for how to end war, and this is because kojima himself doesn't believe there's an easy way to end war and bring about peace, but that doesn't mean it isn't something we should strive for.

This of course, is all my opinion.

Zero, please go back to your coma.

What's beautiful about The Boss isn't that she's correct, it's the drive she demonstrates, the loyalty to her cause, she believes she's right and does everything she can to achieve her end.

That kind of "Loyalty to the end" can be used for good or for evil, it's beautiful and also terrifying that someone can be so dedicated to a cause.

It's really sad what happened to her, not her death no, but how Big Boss completely misunderstood her in so many ways, she gave her life, thinking that he would be the one to carry on her will, and he betrayed the fuck out of her on so many levels.

>she is the only person who really understood The Boss.
She made a rampaging AI "based" on the Boss, no she didn't get her. The only people who got the Boss was Solid Snake, who didn't even know her, and EVA and that's after she gave birth to Solid and Liquid and have them snatched from her like the Boss with Ocelot.

The whole AI thing was her white whale, she loved the boss so much she wanted her back and thought she could do it.

It was an emotional response, it didn't have anything to do with her understanding the boss's will, she did it to attempt to bring that will back to life.

It's just that the people that funded her wanted it for another reason. I'm not saying what she did was right, but her reasons were... understandable.

He was right about how Snake and Diamond Dogs were deluded warmongers. All their high minded camaraderie and the heroic mythos of Big Boss deflected the basic truth that they killed for a living. They saw themselves as the sword of the oppressed but they were just mercs. They worked for whoever payed them the most money, except when they worked to further their own agenda of revenge against cipher. Paz echoes this in her tapes

Huey was innocent of orchestrating the mother base attack. Kaz's assertion that he collaborated with Skull Face in exchange for being spared is absurd. He would have had no reason to fear XOF given that his employer was a nuclear power of over a thousand men led by Big Boss himself with Metal Gear at their disposal and connections to nations around the world. And the act of Skull Face trying to coorce him into cooperating with the attack would have implied that the attack could not be successful without his cooperation. Even cowardly Huey would have had no reason to succumb to Skull Face's threats. Conversely there's no way Skull face would have risked his master plan by recruiting Huey. Big Boss would have been tipped off to the attack if the autistic robot nerd failed to keep up an Ocelot tier deception, or if Huey had simply gone and blabbed to Big Boss as soon as Skull Face contacted him.

TFW you will never get a game starring The Boss now that Konami is in complete control of Metal Gear.

>tfw played this game with a friend, sometimes he played when I wasn't around, we skipped cut-scenes, and didn't listen to a single tape.
I missed the entire storyline for this game, but I have no regrets, because the gameplay was rock-solid. I stopped paying attention to the storyline of Metal Gear games after MGS4.

Honestly you're not missing much, the gameplay is the real star in MGSV. The conversations guards have during missions are more interesting than the cut-scenes.

>design a wolf
>call it a dog

Why is this allowed?

As much as I love the Metal Gear series and its story, you probably are giving more thoughts into this than Kojima himself.
