Fallout 4 over Bloodborne? I haven't even played Bloodborne, but I did play Fallout 4, and there's no way in hell that piece of shit was actually better.
You are simply lying. 70% of all positive posts about TW3 go along the lines "The game has flaws, the combat isn't amazing and the quests are simplistic in nature, but it was still incredible fun and most engrossed I was in a game for a while." This has actually been the case with all three Witcher games. There is the occasional uncritical moron, and even more painfully obvious falseflaggers (usually the ones mentioning and insulting other games in the process, after at least three months here you should be able to fucking tell those apart), but they are not even close the the majority.
Meanwhile, the amount of blind spite threwn at the game is pretty damn overwhelming, with balanced arguments being actually in minority.
It's a genuinely good game. It's something that doesn't exist on playstation (whatever number we're on now). Sonyggers are really upset that there isn't a single decent game that's playable on the PS4.

The combat really is awful and isn't outweighed by the game's story. The enemy variety is also really bad since there are so many reskins.

I liken my first experience/exposure to Witcher 3 with Fallout 3.
I come from an extremely rural, middle of nowhere sort of place and having heard nothing of either (at the time) I bought them both as a fluke. The box looked cool, I had the money and nothing better to do/play.
Since then I have so thoroughly enjoyed both. I prefer open world games where I can explore at MY pace. Unlock or complete things at MY pace. Neither forced you into an irrevocable scenario until the very very end of the main storyline (starting Project Purity and crossing the mist island threshold), and even after completing the main story in both you could keep exploring. You could build characters in different ways in both. You had different follower or romance options in both. Lots of side stuff to keep it interesting, lots of lore and background information to keep digging into.
Keep in mind I came to both games knowing nothing about both and having never played any games in their respective series before either. I was a complete blank slate as a player, so I was unblemished by past failings of their series and I was undevoted as a fan to be let down if something wasn't included or done "just the way I built up in my jead as perfect", as most gamerd tend to romanticize sequels. The replay value is stunning because each choice changes the game. I've played games like Dishonored where I beat the whole thing in a single 7 hour playthrough and experienced no memorable moments, no surprises, no twists, no interesting plot or character development and I've played "interactive movies" as you call them like Ghosts of War, Uncharted, Last of Us, etc - that while fine games in their own right, have zero replay value. Once you "watched the interactive movie", there really isn't much else to do than change the difficulty setting and get a new trophy.
I have 19 characters saved on my FO3 and over 400 hours on TW3.
People will like what they like.
