Hi, i am the best game ever made

Hi, i am the best game ever made.

It's fucking fantastic but it definitely has some rough edges. Some parts of the game are just tedious.

fixed pc port when? dmc4 enhanced was redundant as shit, this needs an updated re-release

more importantly, dmc 5 when?

why don't people complain on tumblr about VERY attractive male protagonist like dante?

Never ;-;

more importantly why don't more games has VERY attractive male protagonist like dante

I dunno, there are some Sonic games I like more than this.

game is fine... but I can't stand Dante

most annoying character of all time..

Excuse me? I'm pretty sure I'M actually the best game ever made

You're not even the best game in your franchise, dumb nigger.

you must like DMC2 and DmC Dante, since the dude is silent except in cutscenes

>I can't stand Dante

But he's likeable as fuck.

>no planes
>no cool weapons
>only one heli
>these fucking colors

...

dante is CUTE

But what about second best game of all time?

...

haha what a dumbass and bad game, if that guy ever walked into a bar he'd get laughed at!!

>no action game since these two + cookie's only good game will top these 3
feels bad indeed

She says no but you can tell she's gonna love it

>she

>she

its too floaty

witch time is boring/feels cheap

too many slowdowns, especially when you dodge roll, which is all the time

bayo 2 sucks

Even better

...

>witch time is boring/feels cheap
play on NSIC
witch time is disabled unless you equip an accessory which drains magic

>its too floaty
Opinion, unless you think every game should be the exact same
>witch time is boring/feels cheap
It takes it away on NSIC which is how you should be playing
>too many slowdowns, especially when you dodge roll, which is all the time
Do you mean some hardware problem or just Witch Time in general, either way play on NSIC like you're supposed to and take the training wheels off
>bayo 2 sucks
I don't into Wii U so I can't say but the way the systems have been described its seems inferior on every mechanical level

I think that Bayo is in many regards superior to DMC3, but some things drag it down
>QTE (although I don't find them annoying here, it's a lazy way to implement finishing moves)
>motorcycle section could be deleted and nothing of value would be lost
>the fucking rocket section
>when you have to take down a miniboss with a goddamn turret
I see that they wanted to go all out with the game, but it made it feel diluited, while DMC3 didn't lose its focus

>Some parts of the game are just tedious.
like what? The only pars I dislike are level 15 and the mandatory boss rush.

Hold on just a moment, I just want to say that the only reason I would defend the motorcycle and missile sections is that they're literally old Sega arcade games, and I like arcade games

I never could get into these, it was too weirdly sexual(i don't mind that it was sexual at all, it was just sexual in all the ways i don't like it being while i'm playing vidya), glasses are lame as fuck, the enemies are one of the most extreme examples of overdesigned messes a lot of the time even though the idea behind their design is cool which makes that a shame, and i'm just not a fan of cosmic tier powerleveled characters. Besides, i already have DMC, which i prefer Itsuno's direction over Kamiya's.

why do you fight each boss 3 times throughout the story of DmC 3?

I also take the chance to confess that I vener fought rodin because I got tired of grinding for rings, and I had more than 5000000 of them and 100+ hours of playtime

don't you have people to block online, Kamiya?

NSIC still has the 'mini slowdown' when you dodge attacks, which i don't like. it wastes time and imo it doesn't feel good

and you're still dodging constantly

but hey

4*
excuse the retardation

None of the bosses outside Jeanne felt that interesting to me desu. I think I preferred Jeanne to Vergil though. I love fighting Beowulf, Agni and Rudra, and Geryon. Now that I think about it DMC3 didn't have a lot of great bosses either.

yeah, I totally see what they did there, but that doesn't save it from the fact that they're the worst levels in the game. I bet the highway one is the least replayed by everyone (the rocket one is mandatory if you want to fight jeanne again, god damn)

series tradition
been that way since the first game

because attractive male protagonists are male power fantasies instead of objectifying sexism

I think I remember you from another thread. Let's say that usually Bayo's boss win because of their scale, but DMC3's ones, having smaller sizes, are more "tight" and require an higher skill imo. I remember fighting Agni and Rudra on DMD mode. One of the hypest fights ever.

Imo Jeanne 3 should have been her own chapter like all the other big bosses in the game, it'd make it easier to practice her, too.

Otherwise at times I just replay the whole game from start to finish, and then occasionally stop on a boss/chapter by itself and repeat it until I've fully memorized and pure platted it.

I appreciate Bayo 1's Score Attack mentality of replaying shit until you perfect it autistically while it's determined to eat your quarter. Otherwise I like DMC as well.

>Imo Jeanne 3 should have been her own chapter like all the other big bosses in the game, it'd make it easier to practice her, too.
ALL of jeanne's battles should have been their own chapters. I don't get why the fuck they went full retarded about that.

i want dante to fuck my brains out
power fantasy amirite

>its too floaty

This, actually I would describe everything about Bayonetta as kind of weightless.

I love silly shit, but for me Bayonetta crosses some kind of line. DMC and Ninja Gaiden aren't some kind of masterpieces in world building and storytelling, but they are just grounded enough for me to feel invested in what I'm doing, I can buy into the world.

Bayonetta is just so off the fucking leash about everything that I just kind of stop caring. Everything in Bayonetta is just so fucking insane and crazy that it becomes a blur for me. I remember so many moments from Ninja Gaiden Black and Devil May Cry 3, I remember almost nothing from Bayonetta. Too cuhrayzee for me I guess.

pretty sure the og poster meant the game's gravity/controls were too floaty

>The game's gravity/controls were too floaty.

That's what I agreed on aswell, but I thought Bayonetta as a whole just comes off as kind of floaty and without any weight to it.

>they put dantes shirt on in 4

yes

But he's got sweet stubble

>you will never be dante

dmc5 better have both

>People actually prefer bishie boy over this.

Giving Dante more of a rugged look in DMC4 was totally the right choice.

Whats so likeable about him?
His "trying too hard to be edgy" attitude? Or maybe the cringeworthy jokes?

I think what made it worse was his prepubescent voice, at least in DMC3 (he was tolerable in DMC1).

his body

style switcher mod ya dingus

>His "trying too hard to be edgy" attitude? Or maybe the cringeworthy jokes?

What's likeable about Dante is that he's he acts as a beam of sunshine in what is ultimately a very dark and morbid world. The word of DMC is quite a depressing place, but Dante laughs it all off, he's sort of inspiring in that way.

Of course this tone was lessened somewhat in DMC4; but it's still a bit present thematically since the Order of the Sword is all about finding salvation through demonic power. Of course Dante knows this doesn't work and the only salvation that exist must be found within yourself.

yeah that and his body

Hi best game ever made! How is your version of the hd collection on ps3? I wanna plat you, but would you recommend so?

Dude, if you think Dante, expecially young Dante is edgy, you're lost somewhere

yeah pretty much

it definately has flaws, but I don't think any games are perfect. As long as the highs are good and the lows are minimum

I like it a lot too

where are dantes lips

pic unrelated, right OP?

Fair enough, but I would prefer a funnier character, maybe a bit more goofy or naive... that is a much better contrast in my opinion.

Anything is better than a teenager doing "edgy shit" listening to "edgy music"...

I couldn't stand the cringe, I'm sorry... I dropped the game because of him.

Definitely up there.

>more goofy
dante is probably the most lighthearted character a serious hack 'n slash (and by serious I mean complex) has ever had

WHERE ARE THEY

>Anything is better than a teenager doing "edgy shit" listening to "edgy music"...

What edgy shit? At worst he gets stabbed and simply doesn't give a fuck.

Also the music he listens to isn't canonically the same as the soundtrack for the games for the most part. The Anime shows him owning the Clash albums for instance.

That's a strange alternate cover to Shantae and the Pirate's Curse.

is that some kind of cambodian bootleg?

so you didn't play anything for imaginary reasons
