I'd argue cosmetic DLC is better than added content, as it doesn't contribute to the game itself. Paying for a game should give you the full experience, not expect you to pay extra for all the content.

True. The gameplay was the slowest and most sluggish thing i ever played, if not for the story, i wouldn't have completed it. 2 had the better everything except the story, because it feels more like a spin-off story until the very end.

I understand saying it has the worst combat/gameplay mechanics, but RPGs live and die on the story, and Mass Effect is no exception. ME2 has great characters and a great ending but the core narrative is kinda meh and feels unnecessary to the overall franchise. ME3's B-stories (Krogan, Quarian) are great but again the main story falls really short.

Too bad we'll never have an ME game that has the focused writing of 1, the characters 2, and the incredibly polished mechanics of 3.
