Games you dropped halfway through because they got so boring and repetitive
Games you dropped halfway through because they got so boring and repetitive
Yeah, it would get repetitive if you died repeatedly by being shit.
Every game is repetetice if you are too bad to make progress
get fucking good you mouth breather
Name 5 games that aren't repetitive.
fighting games
La Mulana
Risk of Rain
Dragon's Dogma before the bitterblack isle farming
Shadow of the Colossus
Why can soulsfags not handle criticism? Say anything bad, they just think you're not good. Its a bandwagon mentality that is always thrown at you
>Get through an incredibly easy level that always copies n64 era Zelda level design
>Dude, "secret" areas that are revealed early on but not accessible until you find the entrance later on
>Enter boss area
>Some bosses are well designed and fun, others just call for tank mode, op weapon and spamming attacks (four kings)
>Forcing yourself through this trite so you can fit in and call yourself a real xD gamer
however if you break any game down to its very core it is repetitive because one game can only have so many mechanics and you will be using those mechanics for the whole game
Translation:
>I was stuck and grinding lvls didn't help
Jackie Chan
Jackie Chan
Jackie Chan
Jackie Chan
Jackie Chan
...
>somebody isnt sucking Miyazaki-sama's dick for creating perfect masterpieces
>le git gud dark souls defense force crawls out of the woodwork
Every fucking time
I can't. Difference is whether or not the game goes on too long to the point of when you know how every level will be
And they made what, FIVE souls games using this exact same formula? Why? Why does cod get hate for 0 innovation but souls games don't?
there yah go bud
Soulsfags use a lot of mental gymnastics to trick themselves into thinking a mediocre hack and slash game genuinely takes skill
Also, Witcher 3 is better.
I even finished the first one, and 2 is supposed to have more variety
I guess I've had my fill of enough asscreed in my lifetime
But the game keeps throwing new situations at you, sounds like you need to git gud.
You seriously think what he said is all garbage?
Don't fucking post anymore
Why do soulsfags always pretend to be people that dislike the souls series and respond posing as them with clearly pleb responses to further continue their delusional generalization that all souls haters are plebs?
>Why can soulsfags not handle criticism?
Why can't you handle counter-criticism? If you didn't use retarded arguments, they wouldn't be so easy to shoot down. Are you trying to have a discussion, or a hate circlejerk against the series?
if you dropped dark souls half way through
you did it right
What new situation?
Another swamp level? Another close corridor level? Another semi linear with ranged combat/cover areas level? Another vertically oriented level with occasion unlockable "drop down" shortcuts?
....
what said start an actual discussion not just throwing around your shit opinion
>Calls criticism retarded
>Doeant say why
>Has no actual reason why criticism is retarded
>Dude you just can't handle bants xD
The souls community is on par with csgo and cod. Pure cancer
Oh shit, a big monster and/or knight. I better mix things up and press circle when he swings at me, and then press R1.
Different enemies, environmental hazards, pitfals, varying parrying speeds. Are you playing dumb or something?
>counter-criticism
>Git Gud your bad at the game xD
Every game has this
It all just boils down to let enemy hit you with shield to analyze their attack patterns, after 5 enemies resort to the same thing as always which is wait for attack, roll, then spam r1 until ded
>This takes skill according to soulsfags
Uh oh, it's a skeleton/ghost/zombie wizard. It's time to pull out the master strategy: I'm going to press circle before the fireball hits me, then walk up to him and press R1.
>Oh shit, a big monster and/or knight.
Not necessarily big, and it's not just the enemies that change throughout the game. The environments and situations keep testing your patience.
When you go to Sen's fortress it's about endurance and expecting traps at every corner, but at the crystal caves it's watching every step and using logic to determine the path. The tomb of giants forces you to take things slowly, blighttown tests your endurance and forces you to react and defeat enemies quickly. Anor Londo both makes you keep moving and forces you to learn how to parry. Almost every new area in the game tries to inconvenience you in new ways and you have to endure and overcome it.
Seriously, it's a stupid argument to make at least about the first dark souls.
All games have this
Its absolutely nothing special
The actual differences are so minor it all blurs together
>Every game has this
I didn't find that on Madden 2015 or Sim City, I must be playing them wrong. Your argument stems from not playing the game, stop overstaying your welcome.
>All games have this
All games have Sen's fortress? Are you even reading the posts you reply to?
There it is, kek. Soulsfags associate all criticism with "dudebro" games as a point of dismissal
>I'm a REAL nerd so I like dark souls xD
I quit the game once I got the the fire queen.
I did not want to go on and I pretty much beat the game. I also got tired of killing the same fucking enemies and I masted the parry system so half the fucking enemies died instantly.
>Soulsfags associate all criticism with "dudebro" games as a point of dismissal
That's not even what the post you're replying to said (how the fuck is SimCity a dudebro game?), you're impossibly retarded. The point was that there are so many different genres of games, you can't make sweeping generalizations like "all games do this it boring".
Stop embarrassing yourself.
>fighting games
>I masted the parry system so half the fucking enemies died instantly.
Then why did you have a hard time finishing the game? Which fire queen are you referring to? It better not be queelag, you weren't even halfway through.
Yes, every acclaimed Sup Forumscore tier game has a trap level. Every acclImed vcore game has different levels all with an underlinying theme. Dark souls is babies first "I'm a real gamer and can notice level design xD"
tell us your favorite game so we can reduce it to simple le XD meme opinions too

Samefag harder OP
I stopped playing it when I had to go to blight town, if I remember correctly. I enjoyed the game and liked how the combat system worked, but for some reason I lost all motivation and that part of the game just looked like shit.
What the fuck are you even saying? Read what you write before you post, and redact it better.
It looks as if you just vomited whatever you were thinking at the moment.
I'm on the edge of dropping this 25hrs in. On the paper it looks like my dream game but it's getting repetitive.
should be fresh errytime you face a new person, depeding on the players plus you can switch characters
>Actually thinking that retard was right
It was a shit game anyways
Runescape
I played DaS until the crystal cave parts, then I got a problem and my save was gone. So I really don't feel like starting all over, I had so much shit.
Bravely Default
Divinity original sin
Transistor and Bation, those games have terrible gameplay.
Not enjoying Dragon's Dogma as well, I heard the combat was great but so far it's pretty repetitive and I'm trying hard to find any depth in it, playing as a bow/daggers class
How the fuck can you get tired of a Souls game? The games focus on raw gameplay and the core gameplay mechanics are fun as fuck, even though they're not as deep as most DS fans would have you think.
