Wow, this game is retarded. Why the fuck does every special move require you to do have a seizure? That shoryuken squiggle is fucking hilarious. Then there are the moves that require you to sit on your ass for a million years to perform. There are about 40 characters and every one plays exactly the same. Character designs are fucking awful, too. Oh look, an over-muscled generic Japanese man, a skinny girl with short hair, and a huge ugly sumo asshole. Movement feels fucking horrible, linking moves is bad and inconsistent, you have to spasm like Michael J. Fox in order to do a basic combo because every single special or super input is trash, and there's not even a story or anything in arcade mode. And it looks like total ass, as well. The shading makes me want to puke, every texture looks ugly as sin, and the characters are all, without exception, completely fucking disgusting. Their faces are grotesque.

What the fuck is supposed to be the appeal of this dogshit? Can someone recommend me a good fighting game?

this is probably pasta but If you don't like the character design of SF series than you not gonna like any fighting game character design. Sf has some pretty basic designs, every other games just runs wild with them.

Maybe fightans are not for you.

super smash bros 4 is the pinnacle of fighting games, dont let shitters tell you otherwise

first time playing fighting games, i learned basic DP it in 30 mins.
it's literally just about you getting good and stop being a scrub

>Can't even do a SRK
Lol.
>Didn't find story in arcade mode
Lol.
>Artstyle
Yeah, SF4 looks horrible.

Still, you a fuckboy. Enjoy your sub 100 IQ.

I can do it. It just feels like shit.

And no, there's no story. HURR DURR I LOVE TO FIGHT. 40 characters and none of them interesting.

Sounds like you just need to get good. And why would you play USF4 anyways? Pretty much everyone has moved over to 5.

>buying games before they go down in price
>paying full price for an unfinished game
>paying full price for a game that you don't know you'll like

What system?

...

>buying games before they go down in price
It has gone down in price on the PS4 and you can get it cheaper with G2A for PC.
>paying full price for an unfinished game
Again, you can get it cheaper
>paying full price for a game you don't know you'll like
Sounds like you already don't like it.

>Playing games for story

>Then there are the moves that require you to sit on your ass for a million years to perform.
>mfw he will never know the joy of playing a charge character

>a million years to preform
>2 seconds

I think you're cute OP
I would like to go on a date with you :3

This is pasta or bait or whatever but it pains me to know that there are people who actually think like this

When a game has nothing else to offer, yes.

Neither. I'm not one of those Sup Forums regulars who needs to steep themselves in hipster irony because they're afraid of having an unpopular opinion.

if you unironically complain about such things then fighting games are really not for you. It's pretty much always a wacky colorful cast and hard to land combos, usf4 isn't anything special in this regard.

sf is also kind of the standard of competetive fighters, something like counter strike is for fps.

if you still insist on playing them then you should probably try mortal kombat x. Moves are much easier to land (big gapcloser at most moves) no complicated supers, combos are chainable, overall less mechanics and a more realistic artstyle that probably appeals to you more.

>If you don't like the character design of SF series than you not gonna like any fighting game character design.

Guilty Gear
Blazblue
Smash Bros
DOA
KOF
uhhh

Tekken has that leopard dude

Oh also Soul Calibur has nice designs

wow, look at all that shit

'alpha 3' 'III 3rd strike' that's the mark of a quality franchise when you can't just fucking number your games or give them proper fucking names. fuck street fighter wow.

lmao what a fucking idiot.

be honest: how long did you spend with the game so far?
all your complaints sound like they're coming from someone after playing their very first fighting game for an hour or so.
i mean really? "shoryuken squiggle"?

but honestly if it is that offputting for you you can try smash, it is a lot more intuitive to play and you actually use a button to block instead of a directional input.
i think some 3d fighters are also fairly intuitive so you can try that.

also understand that fighting games are always extremely multiplayer focused, and its there where the game shines. arcade mode can be fun and is nice to get things started, but you have to play against people

oh wait it's actually playable if you use a keyboard

holy fuck why would they put this on consoles? keyboard is the only way to play this shit.

pasta or not, he does have a point about movement, sf has the least robust movement options out of all current fighting games which tends to make the neutral really stale

ain't got shit on kof or guilty gear for sure

Quick question, do you play Smash Bros.

nope

played a fair bit of MK and injustice, and fooled around with skullgirls for like an hour

>Smash Bros
Subtle

Is this your first fighting game shithead? If you have complaints with inputs in SF4, then dont play fighting games because SF inputs are baby level. All other fighting games have inputs that are more difficult then SF.

If your having this big of a problem with SF4 which is babys first fighting game, then stick to nether relm shit.MK and Injustice are so easy to play anyone and there mother can be a world champ.

Most fighting games dont have a story mode.

>babys first fighting game
That would be SFV

>Bloody Roar not in trashcan tier.
>Jojo in High.
>Guilty Gear X not in trashcan tier.
>No Weaponlord.
>ST not in boredom tier.
>MKU but no MKT.

Who makes these retarded lists?

...

>Someone disagrees with my shit opinion.
>Must be bait.

Bronze shitter detected.

>Who makes these lists?
People who know more about fighting games than you do.

Put some effort into your bait, man,

I find this to be the opposite actually, for me, MK requires you to learn individual characters' movesets, while on Streetfighter, every character basically has little distinction in terms button differences. Hell I can swoop my stick in half circles and hit a button and almost always get a move on any character in SF.

But on MK if you do that, nothings going to happen most likely. MK/INJUSTICE have more of a learning curve when it comes to doing actual moves. Both games are meh with combos.

Both, as far as fighting games go, are not very great. For 3D fighters I play DOA/Tekken Tagl and I'm more Skullgirls, Nitroplus, Blazblue, GuiltyGear as far as 2D fighters go.

I haven't played the new KOF but I hear it's ok.
