Holy shit, so I guess the game is dead then.

I'll play yours in a bit

Here's mine
supermariomakerbookmark.nintendo.net/courses/01AF-0000-0221-60BC
had better ones but I guess they got auto deleted and I can't re-upload them

Good job. That was indeed frustrating, but fun. I guess you can re-upload yours. I re-uploaded a couple of levels that got auto deleted.

Well shit, I just realized I forgot to make the 9/11 level. Might try to shit one out later though.

supermariomakerbookmark.nintendo.net/courses/B15C-0000-024E-87D7

That's a great level. Checked your your other levels and they were great too. Followed.

Well make one now nignog. What are you waiting for? You need suggestions?

Try this level. Its not mine but I had fun playing it. It's hard at first but easy when you get used to it.
E860-0000-0230-D95A

Haven't played in a long time, but an infograph for levels I made around release. I wouldn't be surprised if half or more were taken down.

Most of them are there. The others are not.

I got what I think is a pretty difficult course, but fair. No one's beaten it yet, but I always try to make my courses similar to ones that would be in the game.
Does anyone wanna try it? I'll play some of ya'll's levels when I get home from work.

Towers and Bridges:
supermariomakerbookmark.nintendo.net/courses/
8ACC-0000-0295-32DD

I'll try it out now and see how hard it is.

Need feedback on my latest levels while I work on my anniversary level:
>Neo Becomes The One
supermariomakerbookmark.nintendo.net/courses/A35B-0000-0295-9996

Where all the 9/11 levels at?

Posting my best old levels, haven't made new ones in a while:

supermariomakerbookmark.nintendo.net/courses/DB0E-0000-00EC-4CAC
supermariomakerbookmark.nintendo.net/courses/73A4-0000-00F7-230B
supermariomakerbookmark.nintendo.net/courses/7818-0000-0215-822C
supermariomakerbookmark.nintendo.net/courses/C73E-0000-0208-CA71

Not him, but I'm working on one.
How do I make a cool crash? I was using a blue platform with wings on rails, and planned it to come up to a building that explodes due to bombs, but I don't know how to time them for the exact moment the blue platform touches the blocks.

This is too, man. I died to Wigglers at the end and I've had enough.

I beat it. I FUCKING BEAT IT

I don't know how to make a checkpoint, and I don't know how to make these fancy effects. I'll google it and see if I could find an answer.

Posting some random courses of mine.
Gonna bookmark and play thread courses.

This is by far my favorite level I've uploaded, and it can get pretty hard:
11B9-0000-0076-B8AE
If that gets too frustrating, I also uploaded a version with checkpoints:
C69F-0000-0112-8DCC

Pretty good. How far are you in the anniversary level?

Why are Americans and Italians the only ones who creates good levels?

>americans
>good levels
o i am laffin

OP's level.

That's cool.

I remember a few regularly getting pruned because they were too hard to complete before checkpoints. 2-1, 2-4, and 3-4 were always getting removed so I'd have to make them a bit easier.

What are the best kind of levels and why is it ones where the first and second screens are identical and just reversed, flipped, etc?

Is there a software that helps make levels? The first Jap creator makes detailed anime faces and characters in her levels. It can't be handmade from scratch.

Just finished it. Only gotta clear it to upload.

Fun course.
I beat the checkpoint version because I'm a scrub.

Alright here's my 1 year anniversary course:
supermariomakerbookmark.nintendo.net/courses/F3EB-0000-0298-74BF
It's my simplest level ever, but I needed it out quick.
Anyone who posts a comment after finishing the secret 9/11 exit gets 5 levels played (and starred only if they're decent)

There is no OP level.

Check these out my dudes.

Its been a while but I have a cool image for my stages.

Loved your anniversary level. Blows mine right out of the water.

Jet fuel can't melt steel beams.

A level I made using the three starter pokemon.
Split paths will lead you to finish the game with different pokemon.
>PokéTrek
supermariomakerbookmark.nintendo.net/courses/6330-0000-0296-B672

Thanks; I'm glad that you enjoyed it.

Good anniversary level. How do you make the crash and other effects?

Just put those sounds into the blocks getting destroyed.

Stick a muncher or a blaster on the rail right in front of the blue platform. Line it up so it rams into the top bomb. End the rail there and poke off the cap so it falls down and breaks the bombs below it. You can shake a diagonal rail to make it curve in two different directions if you want the last rail piece to curve and point down.

Shake the arrow to make a checkpoint. You can have one in the main world and one in the sub world.

Yes there is. He just didn't post the bookmark for it.
supermariomakerbookmark.nintendo.net/courses/6394-0000-0298-4D63

Love your levels. Followed.

Tap the frog face to go into sound effect mode. You can put them out in the open or attach them to things. Shake them for alternates.

>Race to the Finish
supermariomakerbookmark.nintendo.net/courses/856B-0000-004B-74CE

I'll try to play as many levels in this thread as I can. Maybe I'll find inspiration to start making levels again.

bump

Just played Wario's Nightmare, that was really clever and funny!
Here's my own Wario level:
>Super Wario Bros.
supermariomakerbookmark.nintendo.net/courses/0757-0000-01AE-27E1
And my own attempts at funny levels:
>Most disappointing power-up ever

>2nd Most disappointing power-up
supermariomakerbookmark.nintendo.net/courses/D7CE-0000-01EC-9836

Has anyone tried to make "Don't Move" levels? Those are very hard to make.

Those are the best courses

>Wario's Nightmare
>Can't get a coin without dying
10/10

Also enjoyed Olimar's Journey! I'll be playing some more of your levels.

My Ganondorf Levels are crammed with secrets, many of them too hard to find normally.

They're hard to make well, but they're usually pretty bad. The only thing I normally like to do with them is try to break them.

I just recently started working on stages again. I may have something new for today. Until then, this is my latest stage.

>Salty Sea Castle

Thanks.

I like it. Good job.

Airship armageddon was also fun, though it was weird to have a non scrolling SMB3 airship level.
The boss could use some tweaking though. It could be easy to kill him with the Fire Flower before he lets you through.

My own airship levels:

>Ship Robbery
supermariomakerbookmark.nintendo.net/courses/3407-0000-00D6-E3E6

In exchange for dumping so many, I've already bookmarked more than a dozen from ITT and will get to playing shortly. These are a mixture of more recent levels and some favourites from the past year.

Really glad to see they got rid of that stupid "die once to comment" rule

It's been months since I've had the time to make anything, but I have plans for new installments in both of my series. For now, I'll post what I have.

My Dr. Feelgood courses each have two different endings, depending on whether or not you save the patient. The pink coins in the second one are an optional expert challenge. Collecting all of them will get you a visit from the Chief of Medicine.

Deus Ex Magikoopa is my action-puzzle series of long courses with a Metroid feel. There are plenty of item generators in each course, so you can retry the sections repeatedly. As long as you have an item equipped, there are no one-hit deaths.

Deus Ex Magikoopa: Check & Point
supermariomakerbookmark.nintendo.net/courses/4E69-0000-00D8-78B4

Deus Ex Magikoopa 2: Fire & Ice
supermariomakerbookmark.nintendo.net/courses/AF76-0000-0115-56D4

Deus Ex Magikoopa 3: Stone & Sky
supermariomakerbookmark.nintendo.net/courses/AD42-0000-01B2-7B55

Check & Point is the most physically demanding of the three. Fire & Ice is the longest and has the most secrets. Stone & Sky has the trickiest puzzle elements. If you can beat this series, I'll play through your entire profile.

Not a fan. Got the record at least.

I actually made some changes to that level, including the boss, I just haven't uploaded it yet.

Your levels are great by the way.

Been a while since I last made a stage, but I'll post my most popular (and honestly best) ones:

>Bowser's Big Chase - mildly challenging gimmick level
supermariomakerbookmark.nintendo.net/courses/0085-0000-01CF-A78D

>Flight of the Buzzy Beetles - quite challenging runner/gimmick level
supermariomakerbookmark.nintendo.net/courses/8A2A-0000-015F-436C

>mSMB3 1-5 Cog Climb Castle - part of my "mSMB3" series, easy since it's world 1
supermariomakerbookmark.nintendo.net/courses/135D-0000-0202-B7EE

Hope you like them.
Bookmarking your' courses right now, though many I would've already played.

Isn't that just a side effect of decoupling comments from starring?

I haven't even looked at any comments since that happened, I bet it's 90% shitposts now.

One of the levels I put the most effort into. Anyone who's played the best 3DS mii plaza game will recognize it.
>Monster Manor Climb

>Isn't that just a side effect of decoupling comments from starring?
WHAT?! Damn, that's great, but I've been commenting on a lot of levels now, I would have starred had I known!

I'm glad you like them!

This is my most popular level by far. It might also be my best one:

supermariomakerbookmark.nintendo.net/courses/E364-0000-025A-DBD5

This is my most recent one. This one needs some love:

supermariomakerbookmark.nintendo.net/courses/C9CC-0000-0271-53A8

I haven't played in a while since I'm busy with other stuff but hopefully that will change a bit soon. I really want to go back and improve some of my older levels. At least two are somewhat broken.

Fucking squids. I hate them.

Best mario maker thread in months here.
I'm currently making a level so here some old stuff.

Your levels are too hard for me.

Where the fuck 9/11 levels at? Afraid of your level getting deleted?

Only seen 2 so far

I'll shill (what I hope are) my best courses:

There should be at least one from every difficulty. I'm not sure why people liked Floral Fields, though.

Sorry to hear that, I try and have some difficulty without having any bullshit parts

>bad at thinking of eye-catching names
>too much pride to whore my levels out online

I'm doomed to never reach 30 stars.

post them

just do it user, whats the point in making them if nobody gets to play them

>too much pride to whore my levels out online
That is silly. People physically won't find your levels unless you put them somewhere to be seen. That's what the bookmark feature is for.

Here's my most popular level:
>Entering Twilight
supermariomakerbookmark.nintendo.net/courses/2882-0000-01EF-C913
It was featured on PB&Jeff one time, that might be why.

Finished both your levels.
They were both really good, great job!
I was just a little bit disappointed there was no actual Koopa King at the end of your second level.

Here's a few of mine

Just bookmark 'em and post your opinion here as you play them to keep the thread alive.

Here's my level. Might inspire you upload yours. 67A4-0000-0298-9340

Daily reminder that your level is ABSOLUTE SHIT if you:

-have doors/pipes leading to instant death
-force the player into a "leap of faith" situation where they can't guarantee a safe landing
-has excessive use of sound effects (the dance party shit means you're instantly a faggo)
-gives the player a star power-up and then a billion enemies to plow through at the end

Oh, and those auto-levels where you don't move are just boring. Nobody likes that shit anymore.

Thanks a lot! I actually remember you from threads earlier this year, when I first got the game, and always enjoyed your levels. I'll bookmark some of your newer levels for when I have more time to play.

>I was just a little bit disappointed there was no actual Koopa King at the end of your second level.

There actually is one in the final room. He just might be hard to make out because I had to change the room several times in orer to avoid a situation that potentially could lead to people getting stuck. Initially, he wasn't supposed to do much, except for giving you the final key upon his death but I ran out of keys to use, so he just gets crushed to death, when your way to the goal opens up. I guess I should have made sure that he's better visuable during the boss fight but, after I had been forced to change the specifics over and over again to make things work like intended, I just said "fuck it" and uploaded the level like it is.

Posting a story level for any mewtwofags out there
>Mewtwo And The Scientist’s Lab

Played the last level you posted.
The layout was very confusing, but after doing a little exploration I was able to figure it out.
Really good and satisfying in the end.

>Another Simple Course
7808-0000-003D-8830

>gives the player a star power-up and then a billion enemies to plow through at the end

Almost no one seems to know the correct way to use a starman power-up. I've seen a couple of creative uses, but never put into a regular stage and used intelligently.

It's a shit power-up to begin with.

OK, those are my levels

The Call of Cthulhu: 6CEF-0000-00B5-AA9E

Raiders of the lost coins: AA14-0000-00DE-12F1

Castle of Thorns: 44A8-0000-01B2-14FF

The Four Horsemen: B615-0000-024A-DE37

Agreed. You're also a fag if you make a super difficult level, and then hide some power-ups or short cuts, because you were too bad to upload it otherwise. I once actually dies in a level because I jumped on a platform where there was no reason to jump, finding a hidden block that contained a Lakitu cloud. It was a "lol, so hard XD" level, so it was obvious that the maker used the cloud to skip to the end.
