Dont get me wrong, I love my Sup Forums. Been coming here for years, and will continue to for many more...

But this place IS a fucking shithole. I dont actually come here to discuss vidya. Between Sup Forums raids, shitposting, console wars, daily doses, e-celebs and "what did he mean by this" there really isnt much room left for real vidya.

That and 80% of Sup Forums-tards are disgruntled hipster faggot "gamers" now anyways.

As much as a competitive can hurt a game it keeps the content fresh and interesting
Multiplayer subreddits without competitive like r/tf2 have completely divulged into unfunny clips with captions and shitposts. There is no interest to actually be good at the game and talk about the game play as the community has no competitive urge.

The main benefits to Sup Forums are that it moves much faster and is more focused on talking than sharing content for upvotes.
