just make sure the whole crew is alive at the end of the battle or you wont get the full ending

i can beat exdeath, but neo exdeath keeps killing me

i have 1 time mage + dual caste, and 3 mimes to copy the dual cast meteor

I just beat FFV with no guide
It took me three times but I summoned Bahamut over and over and used heals/buffs with my other characters.
When I won I also got really lucky with multiple sword dances (each does over 10,000 damage)
Characters were around lvl 36

if you have trouble beating a mainline final fantasy with no gimmicks you are probably a Bad, sorry

Mimic is actually a pretty bad class. it has horrible stats.

bartz - 4x attack, dual wield, magic attack
Reina - White Magic/Summon/Time
Krile - Mix/Time/Blue
Faris - Coin Toss/Jump/Dance

You now have 1 Super Physical Guy, 3 Healers, and Mix is OP.

Renna White Mage/Monk
(Chinese Dress)
Krile Black/Time Mage

You could use Chaos Cannon if you want to be a scrublord.

Mimic also has shitty equipment options.

Just use two summoners
Cast Titian first (Stops all physical attacks, may have to recast ever now and then) then cast Bahamut over and over again for damage
And two White mages (one with Time for Haste 2) then use Shell on the team and arise for full health when ko'ed. Hair ordainments (or whatever it is called on the GBA version) use only half mp
Also use elixirs as needed (it's the end of the game, no reason to not use elixirs)

That should work

Gill toss like a motherfucker.
Spellblade dual wield rapidfire if you wanna grind.
Summoner/time mage and black mage/blue mage combo
Go freelancer and equip your best shit, since freelancer has the very best stats
