MGS3
The best
halome[dot]nu
the melodies in gen 3 are fantastic, too bad they fucked up with OR/AS. At least I still have emerald
I'm kinda cheating, but I prefer the ending theme:
youtube.com
which is basically the uncut version of the title theme
also, MP2 and 3

>tfw turning on your 13 year old cartridge and seeing your old pokés

youtube.com
>MGS3's title screen theme
>god tier
nope, it's decent at best
The oldest Pokemon cartridge I have is my Pearl from 2009.
Still brings back memories
Good ole nostalgia kicks in immediately at the start of this song every time

No, but definitely MGS4
G T F O N O R M I E
jk good taste
I love this, i spent hours as a teenager playing this game, good memories.
I really love this one.

This one resonates deep into my soul
That fucking nostalgia of playing this game, exiting the world, and meeting all the people within it. Fuck.
Fuck yea!
I still remember the sensations when I first listened to it. Mesmerizing.
I loved Twilight Princess altough I understand it isn't as memorable as, say OoT.
Im playing through it for the first time right now. I just reached kakariko village. Is the whole game so linear? I'm like four or five hours in and I haven't been set loose upon the world to explore yet
yes, you need to unlock the provinces one by one and in order IIRC but then it gets better, just you wait after liberating all the spirits and facing zant for the first time

Also props to Golden for having a sweet ass start menu for this.
youtube.com
Literally perfect

Also StarCraft but some user already put that one, good taste user btw

>tfw Syphon FIlter is dead
>Morrowind
It never fails to feel my soul uplifted whenever I listen to it
I like pianos
youtube.com
The best

not today famicom
Wouldn't call them GOAT by any stretch, but theres just something about Tales title screens/intros that consistently stirs a heartfelt feeling of readying to undertake a grand adventure which I really like.
youtube.com
>tfw the theme gets used in that one cutscene
My goodness, that title screen
>not platinum
youtube.com
>gen 4
No thanks
Best one coming through.
My oldest is my Blue cart I got when I was 9, 20 years ago. The save STILL works though I doubt for much longer. 150 caught, got the shitty certificate.
>tfw someday I'll boot it up and find out the battery died sometime earlier without me knowing.
>New Game
>Option
Nothing bombastic. Just a piano.

The very best.
My absolute favorite.
By far the best thing in here.
There we go. Never gets old.
maximum comfy
MY FUCKING MAN
Nishiura did amazing work for the Dark Cloud games.
Is this the most recent example of a title screen that isn't complete shit?
MGSV had that cool title screen that came up half way through the intro after a bowie song, but then you never saw it again afterwards.
I'd say Bravely Default and Second have good title screens but the music just doesn't hold a candle.
Ah.. I miss this series
I enjoyed both versions, but I think I'd have to give it to Leifthrasir.

When I still played the game, I really enjoyed these.
Nothing beats XI's title screen. I wish I could find a video that has all the tracks from over the years, but here is the one I enjoyed the most.
>emerald not gold
Bitch please
Can't believe this hasn't been posted yet.
Best Mega Man title screen coming through.
Coming home from school to this is like 90% of my memory of high school.
youtube.com
How has this not been mentioned?
I can't think of anything off the top of my head that would top Mafia's title theme.
God tier you say?
The overworld is shit but the dungeons after the 3rd one are all beautiful
Does this count?
>No one has posted Mega Man 3 yet
Snake Eater ain't the title theme lad. That is the credits theme.
youtube.com
my MEN
sadly all my old cartridges were corrupted from being played so much, so my sapphire, ruby, emerald, firered, and even leafgreen are all toast. same goes for my crash and spyro games, all corrupt.
the best i can manage is looking to my emulator saves, but man, that just ain't the same.

I'd like to try this game some day, wish my pc wasn't shit or I could find a copy.
I cant believe nobody posted the obvious one before
There will never be another music focused cute action platformer ever again. Why even live?
...
I wish Crisis Core were a cute musical action platformer; that way I could have enjoyed it more.
The best one so far, by far.
youtube.com
severely underated post, wish he'd do this with other game's title screens, so satisfying
Why do orchestrated pieces with with an emphasis on strings go so well together with WWII(ish) games and movies?
Short, sweet and can't be beat.
Yoko Shimomura is a goddess.
Since we've been avoiding it for so long.
