So Tokugawa Ieyasu has finally been revealed. He's voiced by Masachika Ichimura, a well-respect actor in musical theatre, who's best known for his role in the Japanese adaption of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Jesus Christ Superstar.

Either an Earth Elemental because of the castles on its back or water, cause its a ship. Weirdly, its color should be purple or blue if that's the case.

Definitely lightning, I know he symbol on its ears has associations with Taiko drums and lightning.

Their face are modeled on Japanese Models so I guess they look more appealing than the less Asian/realistic faces from DoA.

Yasuda basically said they didn't go in for the overtly sexual angle with Nioh because they felt it wouldn't fit the general tone they were for going for and would just feel shoehorned in. And really, he's completely right, someone like Rachel who exists solely for the purpose of being wankbait would just be completely out of place in it.

Only other thing he's done is something called "Arata no Tsukumogami". Can't say I know it either.

In the manga the bad guy says that Japan is a great source of amrita because they're superstitious and kill each other a lot. So I guess it could be something like that.

Realism in western games is a fat joke of an excuse. Not only is the gameplay QTE-infested that breaks any immersion but the character designs are focus tested by a committee of college liberal arts students. Also the character in Nioh is modeled after a real character that actually looks like her.

That's okay because it fits the setting. This is imperial Japan. It's like if they made a movie about the pilgrims but the main character was a Japanese guy.

Latest chapter came out a few days ago.
So far the manga has basically covered the first mission in the demo and some stuff shown in previews, so only the very beginning of the game.
