I've played DR1 and DR2.

Something is drawing me to buy DR1 again even though DR2 is objectively better in every way.

It was the fastest, safest way to grind for kills that I could find. Go there, get in a car, drive to the underground, kill the mass of zombies right in front of you with said car, reverse back outside, repeat a few times, grab a new car, repeat for 3 days.

I tried that but the cars break too quickly and I found myself surrounded more than once, there are probably better ways available but like I said I found mine to be the safest, didn't have to stop once and was never at risk.

you have to get the true ending first. which is long enough that most people who dont enjoy the time limits wouldnt give a fuck about.
