>Rumors are now circulating that we won't get a Nintendo NX announcement until October at the earliest
REEEEEEE
Just reveal the fucking thing already, fucking Christ. I can't handle the cockteasing, the rumors, and the general fucking drought of information about upcoming games in general that they're holding out on us for the NX much longer.
No idea is THAT good that they need to hold off on showing it too us this close to launch just to prevent Sony and Microsoft from trying to reverse engineer it/put it out first.
At this point I wouldn't be shocked if this was some kind of social experiment and they just shipped out empty boxes to people come March.
Joseph Clark
So rumor that "we" won't get the NX announcement until November when?
Jaxon Powell
October, obviously.
Michael Phillips
To you fags that when Eurogamer or whoever was pushing September.

>Believing Emily Rogers and the Eurogamer Rumors.
Why?
James Foster
>it was supposed to be revealed at E3
Honestly, what went wrong? Why the drastic change?
Worst thing is, Nintendo probably thinks they're building hype when at this point nothing they show will be better than the rumours.
Nathaniel Robinson
I thought it was always that it wasn't going to be revealed at E3.
Michael Butler
It was outright fact that it was not going to be revealed at E3.
Aiden Young
>nothing they show will be better than pur shit. Oh come on that's impossible.
Connor Stewart
Because, on paper, announcing your console roughly six months before launch makes sense. It worked really fucking well for the PS4, for example.
Their reasoning for not wanting to announce it at E3 was because they were pushing the console back to a non-traditional (non-late November/early December holiday season) launch, so I expected a three month shift in the reveal to correlate with the three month shift in release.
Egg on my face I guess.
Bentley Hughes
During the Iwata era and a bit after it it was planned to announce it at E3. It was a few months before E3 when they announced that only Zelda would be there.
Josiah Hall
>Rumors
Jackson Long
Yes, and?
Regardless of their validity, the fact that a bunch of major news sites are reporting that "Industry insiders are saying we arn't getting a reveal until October at the earliest" is a little disheartening.
Leo White
Well other "rumours" suggest it's a handheld despite Nintendo previously referring to it as a home console, so forgive me if I'm extremely sceptical of all current rumours.
Jaxson Hill
>During the Iwata era and a bit after it it was planned to announce it at E3 Source?
Nathaniel Davis
>it was supposed to be revealed at E3 No it wasn't.
Parker Scott
>Yes, and? can't you read? >rumours the rest of your post is fanfiction.
Owen Murphy
If a lot of people say that the earth is flat, then I'll start believing it!

Not that guy, but I got the impression that Nintendo's E3 presence this year (ESPECIALLY the initial announcement in the press release, which is also where they announced BoTW would be cross generation) was just kind of thrown together at the last minute because they had nothing ready to show for some reason. Barely any games outside of Zelda, no real presentation or Nintendo Direct, a lack of real news outside of Zelda in general etc. etc.
Based purely on speculation, I'd say they were going to show of the NX but it got pushed back and they had to scrap their entire E3 because of it. Then they fumbled together an entire two days of demo walkthroughs and said that "They didn't want to take focus away from Zelda." as an excuse as to why they had fuck all at E3.
Matthew Myers
Can't find the source, maybe I was wrong and it was only rumors? Though I have found source of Miyamoto saying "no nx on e3" a couple of months before E3.
Hunter Lewis
at this point i'll buy whatever they put out
Cooper Gutierrez
To be honest their area in the E3 place was very well done with lots of props and shit, so I think they've had the idea of focusing on zelda for a good while before e3.
Lincoln Green
It was announced 3 months before hand that they were doing that. Assuming that they were going to put together a Zelda display anyway, it's not outlandish to think they could have expanded upon it to accomplish what they did in that amount of time if they were putting literally all of their chips in that basket.
Evan Stewart
>I got to go to E3 but I couldn't get in line for the game, I just got to see inside >All those cool looking props, all that craftwork
I'm amazed at what they pulled off
David Ward
>but I got the impression nice source, you stinking sack of shit.
Nicholas Sanders
I didn't claim to have a source you fucking faggot, hense why I didn't cite any other than the press release from back in April where they both announced the Zelda delay, NX release date, AND that they were changing their usual E3 plans.
It's not hard to put 2 and 2 together.
Nicholas Edwards
Is that based off the physically impossible fake leak one? lol
Isaac Baker
Why do you even care about following nintendo after they mistreated you so much and left their current console to die? Even the 3DS which usually has the better library gets almost jack shit this year.
Wii had operation Rainfall and serious droughts WiiU has operation Dowpour, amiibos and serious droughts NX will have operation Flushtoilet and serious droughts.
I'm not sure what you are expecting out of them, they are starting to focus on mobile gaming and other businesses outside of gaming, NX might even be their last console until they fully integrate with mobile, which requires less effort and is more profitable with all of their well known IPs.
Nintendo isn't fixing thei recent (well, decade long now) hit-and-miss standard of 1st party games with the NX. Nintendo isn't fixing their almost non-existant 3rd party relashions with the NX. Nintendo isn't fixing their 2-generation-behind online with the NX. They won't start to compete with any other company in power with the NX.
It's just a new console, with its own gimmick, that will get a dozen or so good 1st party games but in the end won't solve any of nintendo's core problems.

apparently so. You are as desperate to bump your dead thread as you are trying to stand by nitendo's uncaring hand
