Limited inventory

>limited inventory

casual

>arbitrary item weights

>limited storage space

>weight limit is 200kg
>199.9kg, full speed ahead
>pick up toothpick
>cant run anymore

>you are over-encumbered

>Unlimited inventory
>Have to scroll for ages and look for that one fucking item among 8147814 of them

WOW

>tfw murderhobo and a hoarder

Was so relieved when I found the over 9000 weight mod for Witcher 3, fuck off 260 pounds isn't realistic either might as well give me cartoon space.

>level restricted gear in open world games

>UI made for PC
>all item are sorted by type, color and rarity
WOOOOOOW

Fuck even MH for the shitty 3DS manages to do it.

Let's see you carry 260 pounds across the world let alone from your house to the end of the street.

>what is inventory management

Your casual is showing

>unlimited inventory
>no inventory management at all it's just a list with a weight limit

Re-read what he said.

>hoarding

>items you need multiples of that dont stack
>ammo has weight
>tangible quest items take up inventory space
>100 different healing items that heal different quantities of health cluttering your fucking inventory up for example, 37x chicken legs that heal 367 hp, 21x cotton candy that heal 200

>put item on the floor in hub
>entire town square is full of weapons and gold

>indie mmo from the time they were still called "graphical muds"
>bandages are a key consumable for melee combat
>characters had limited carry weight
>shit needs balancing
>they make each bandage weight like 10 kg

>i is inventory
>L is flashlight
>[ and ] are healing

>limited inventory
>limited by number of item types
>try to pick up an item that could stack in your inventory
>game doesn't let you because you're maxed out in item types
Literally the fucking worst

>max items possible on hot bar doesn't end in a 0

Holy shit why the hell would you let me use only 9 items on the hot bar?

I sort of assumed the flavour was that he kept a lot of the stuff saddled on the horse, not actually dragging it around at all times.

Yeah, I mean it's a resource like any other in the game; gold, life points, mana. I don't see why people would want to remove it.

I also like planning effective travel routes in my rpgs.

RE4 inventory is best inventory

why isnt this pulled out in more games?
