I'm a little concerned about this because the PS3 version of Guilty Gear Xrd looked like shit. Everyone kept saying the PS4 version looked identical to it, even actual tournament players on Dustloop who posted footage of them in Japan playing it said both versions look the same. But the PS3 version looked nothing like the arcade and PS4 versions. The PS3 versions usually have terrible framerate too. I hope Atlus ANKHA

I want you to open up the PS4 version screenshot in one tab, then take the PS3 version screenshot into another tab. Then, on the PS3 screenshot, hold control and then mousewheel it until it fills your screen exactly as much as the PS4 screenshot.

That will give you a better idea of what ACTUALLY to expect from the differences, since they're both going to display on a 1080p television regardless of what version you get.

Plus, I hear the PS4 version will be 60fps, not that this matters as much in a JRPG as much as it matters in every other kind of game, but still. Would prefer the PS4 version.

Don't. Persona 5, Horizon: Zero Dawn, and Yakuza 6 are the only things I even feel like playing on my PS4 since most of my games are on PC The visual difference is not worth $400 if you already own a PS3.

I originally bought a PS4 for Destiny (which I dropped because I got sick of actibungie's bullshit) as well as Nier: Automata and a bunch of weeb JRPGs since I have no interest in cinematic third person shooters, but as it turns out most of the stuff I wanted to get came to PC anyway, so I've been comfortable on this platform. I would like PS4 more if it had the same level of backwards compatibility as PC, and I didn't have to choose the PS2 and PS1 games I can replay on it. Cause like, what's the point if emulation exists on PC and it's far more customizable than buying a PS2 classic on PS4?

Dungeons are no longer random, have puzzles and look like something out of Nocturne or DDS.

Social links now add benefits to the battle system so you can decide what you want to fight with and just go after links that give you guns, items, etc., instead of just lazy bonus experience.

I'm an SMTfag too and I'll give credit to them for actually trying to improve when they could have slapped Persona on the cover and sold the same amount.
