Hurr durr No Man's Sky sucks

>hurr durr No Man's Sky sucks
>still the best selling game of August
>mods adding tons of depth to the game

What say you know, heaters?

go to bed Sean

It's more fun than fallout 4

>Top download on PSN when nothing else was released that month for PSN

Journey was top download for 5 months.
If it can't beat Journey, then Sean's a dead man.

Games should have a big red bar at the top with a countdown timer telling you when your refund period is going to expire.

Like the bethsda games, it still sucks even if you mod it to death.
Sean is literally todd.

Call of duty black ops 3 has 250 million sales.

>top selling on ps4
>august
>mods on ps4

Also top refund of the month

> no mods on PlayStation
Cucked again

COD is bad. Let me guess, youre first BF game was 4 and you think One looks amazing

How's it doing for September?

>COD is bad

no.

Well this is a game 4 the players

I think that's his point. Sales has nothing to do with quality when it comes to AAA releases.

>cod is bad
>cod sells a lot
>no mans sky sold a lot
>no mans sky is __
l2read

>No Man's Sky was the most refunded game of all time

August was the month it released. The real story should be its stats after a month.

>a game sold well so it's good

>CoD is bad
Presentation, mechanically and gameplay wise, it's literally perfect.

No critic of CoD has ever been able to find an actual flaw with the gameplay of CoD aside from the fact that it has done nothing to revolutionize itself and sold you the same game for the past 10 years.

A game with no gameplay sold well on a console with no games

It felt good to get out of the rain.

and? For $60 COD is well worth the money if you like FPS games. Campaign, zombies (or aliens or whatever), and multiplayer. BO3 even had some zombies arcade game as well.

I find people that whine about COD are 10-21 (god help you if you are older than that and actually participate in game/console wars) year old Battlefield fanboys who have never actually played COD, old COD players who wanted change and hate that they got it so they want the old games back, or just teenagers who follows the "le COD suggs DAE think this XD" bandwagon thats been going on since at least 2007.

>"mechanically and gameplay wise, perfect"

>hitscan weapons
>levels are static
>levels are small
>guns feel like they shoot BBs and have no weight to them
>awful sound design
>dated graphics in every game since the first one
>no vehicles
>no emphasis on teamwork despite being placed on teams
>unlocks are a tedious, boring, grind that doesn't really unlock anything that special
>client side hosting half way through series

The list would be bigger, but I haven't actually played the games since MW2 was such a huge turd.

I m-meant to memetext ;_;
>COD is bad
p-pls no bully g-guys

Specialists and wall running has really changed the multiplayer and mixed it up a bit. My only complaint is that 99% of the new maps are the same three lane medium sized bullshit

>No vehicles
>No emphasis on teamwork
>Dated graphics
>Levels are static
>Levels are small
>Hitscan weapons
>Guns feel like they shoot BBs

These are not criticisms, these are preferences.
Get it right.

Unlocks beings tedious means nothing when most weapons have the same ability to kill with a difference in range or rate of fire.
You could've said that the game rewards the player who saw the other player first and that would've been fine.

>It's okay if these things are shit it's just your preference

Yes, they are preferences. Do you want to somehow prove they are not?
Explain how every single one of your points detracts from CoD's presentation without using hypothetical situations.

>No critic of CoD has ever been able to find an actual flaw with the gameplay of CoD
Except for the fact that it's a casualized hallway shooter with quick time events and regenerating health aka jellyvision.

>mods adding tons of depth to the game
For example?

>(god help you if you are older than that and actually participate in game/console wars)

You would have a blast if you visited /vr/ someday

>Fifty nine dollars and ninety nine cents

You said the gameplay and mechanics were PERFECT. Those things I listed are imperfections in it's mechanics and gameplay. They're not preferences.

When you have a game taking place in a realistic war setting, having no vehicles, static and small levels, no teamwork, dated graphics, hitscan weapons, and shitty gunplay are negatives. The game is almost indie-tier trash in terms of war games.

A literally perfect game that took place in the modern war universe would be something like Arma, but a bit more arcadey, kinda like Squad.

How many were refunded?

and shit movies make loadsamoney all the time... your point?

Are you that surprised? They'll buy anything with marketing and falsely generated hype behind it, why do you think stale generic shit like COD sells so well? They quite literally dont know any better.

In what way in CoD do you feel would have actually benefited from larger levels and vehicles when they have never presented to be that way?

These are things that should be considered as different mechanics and concepts all together.
Since they don't exist and the developers had no intentions of it existing it doesn't do anything but make it clear that you want a game that has that and CoD never wins your checklist.

CoD emphasis on action in a realistic war, which it presents perfectly.

Nothing that you have said detracts points from CoD.
For a game to have a real flaw in mechanics and gameplay, it needs to introduce something that does not work or get a response from the player that was intended by the developers. Something that can ruin the pace and overall difficulty for the player.

Examples: The enemy scaling in Oblivion.
The heavy driving and steering in GTA4.
Rival opponents in fighting games reading moves.

A game being boring means nothing, because it will always be subjective. But a game having a flawed mechanic holds true because everyone experiences some level of frustration.

>mods adding tons of depth to the game
I'll ignore the other hilarious bullshit: what has been added?

>CoD emphasis on action in a realistic war, which it presents perfectly.

I disagree. The game feels like nothing more than glorified paint ball.

Sounds like you go to some crazy paintball arenas, user.

>something is perfect as long as it meets expectations

Your definition of perfect is not shared by anyone else.

>heaters
heh

it will also be the top refunded game of september

>august
Oh boy, totally blew out the competition out of the water.

I would like to think that Sean did not care just about sales and was hoping that his dream game was actually good.
I would like to think that there are devs like that left in the world

It's perfect if it's as the developer intended.
Unfortunately even "perfection" is ultimately subjective outside of shit like math and science.

>like what I like or you're a flamer
You better start believing in game wars. yer participating in one.

You're a fucking faggot, dude.
