All vicious and kill people or beings. Maybe for "good" reasons, but still vicious in their own way. Sakurai just makes up whatever reasons he wants so he can circle jerk the things he deems worthy, that is, things he has a bias for.

I like heavy hitting characters. He was good to play when teaching my friends. He punishes really hard, but is easy to dodge, predict, and thus punish him in turn. He's (fun).

Mario's aerials are ridiculously safe on shield to the point where power shielding his attacks I still cannot get in a quick punish. Mario players do not understand even the basics of Smash bros mechanics such as spacing, reading and reaction. They completely rely on flow charting their safe moves. If you main Mario you have no skill unlike Ganondorf mains!

These things are all braindead options which won't teach you anything about fundamentals because they act as a crutch to help bad players that don't know anything about fundamentals like spacing, reads, adaptation, reaction. I'm not even a Ganondorf main and I don't believe Ganondorf teachs those things that well either. I'm just genuinely pissed off at Mario and his BS. Ofcourse a skilled player can be freakishily amazing with Mario but a bad player can use him and be decent. Arguing against what ZeRo said I believe Mario carries bad players.

But that's what the Mario is for.
To be simple and easy to use for beginners.
