Vidya 4 Couples

Therapist says my gf has anxiety, and actually recommends she plays some vidya for it. What are some good couple games Sup Forums? She doesn't play that many games so it can't be too difficult.
Pic unrelated.

If your picture suggests that you two like marvel, play marvel ultimate alliance co-op. Comfy and fun stuff.

You're going to get 99% meme responses. But honestly, try stuff that's fun and not at all anxiety-inducing.

Easy racing games and stuff that's hard to fail at. Apparently, Tetris helps with PTSD.

Pokemon I guess is a good one, Zelda might stress her out over some of the dumber puzzles

Psychonauts. Totally chill shit. The last level is like meat heaven.

There is only one way to make her escape her cycles of self g- I mean anxiety

Stardew Valley, or any Harvest Moon

Keep talking and nobody explodes

dont do that im just kidding. Play some stuff that cute, lighthearted, and fun together, even if it's not co-op. Paper Mario or something.

Okami

If you told me that game doesn't have a game over screen, I would believe you. Besides that, it has excellent music that is very calming, and is a generally lighthearted game.

>the normalfag invasion isn't real they said
I want my old Sup Forums back

Dunno if she could be OCD about it but Stardew Valley or any Harvest Moon/ Rune Factory/ Animal Crossing games are relaxing stuff.

And complaining about everything is helping how?

As in social anxiety? Because doing a solitary activity to help with being a sperglord is like advising someone to jump into a pool of gasoline when they're on fire.

Grow Home/ Grow Up

Both are very relaxing games with no fail states, and a lot of freedom.

Games? Why aren't you dicking her down proper like?

Eat her pussy also

terraria, never go to hard mode

I play wow with my girlfriend. I lost interest a long time ago but she loves it. Still fun to play with somebody who gets excited over it.

Can't go wrong with Captain Toad.
Music is nice and relaxing, and it's the perfect pace for a chill game.

Fez and Braid are also good recommendations.

Dota 2

Make sure she gets involved with the community and leaves on chat

It's not like I can do anything to change the situation by myself. At least let me vent my frustration.

Pony Island.
It runs on any pc, it's pretty girly, relaxing and fun.

But anime girls cant have those problems OP

dark souls

This

If she likes to build/decorate, then she can easily do that, and you can fight and gather the resources for her.

I have anxiety and something peaceful, low pressure, and repetitive like Transformice helps. There's like 30 people or more per room but if you want to play as a couple, you can just join one together and /watch each other and to see each other clearly in all the chaos.

Have sex with her, you fucking virgin. I fuck my girlfriend every day and she doesn't have anxiety at all, but maybe that's because I'm not a total no-life loser like you.

This.

You sick bastard

terraria, borderlands, portal, don't starve together, battleblock theater
played all of these games with my gf

Play kirby games. Super relaxing

>borderlands
I KEEP SHOOTING IT BUT IT WON'T DIE! : The Game

Probably not the best for someone who's high strung with anxiety

cooking mama , mario party. dark souls. plants vs zombies, cawodooty, a clean up to date racing game with real cars spilt screen,. not sure if those exist right now tho

neither is don't starve together that game is a constant battle to not die against super random horseshit

Rayman Legends and Origins with two xbox 360 controllers.

One of the few games where everything is so fun and light-hearted, people don't get really mad about anything, and it's just enjoyable for everyone.

>Minecraft
Play on peaceful, though. Girls get fucked up by creepers constantly for some reason.
>Stardew Valley
Cute little farm game.
>Terraria
Nice time waster, easy to co-op.
>Melody's Escape
Nice rhythm game, also gives you guys a chance share music.
>Skyrim, if she's open minded about fantasy worlds.
Gameplay is piss easy and it's impossible to fuck up quests.
>Any racing game

What? My experience with BL(1) is picking brick and noticing the aim assist is out of this world, going ADS and blasting people in the face instantly killing them with a shotgun I picked up halfway through the game without even aiming. You kill really fast in borderlands. Don't remember how it goes if you stray from the level appropriate zones though, been ages since I played it.

Minecraft is a pretty chill game too.

She has anxiety you moron. She's supposed to have fun, not get an ulcer.

Maker her play STALKER with mods, OP. STALKER is super comfy.

Do Mirror's Edge. Watching my sister play was funny as fuck, blindly jumping off buildings whenever she saw a cop.

Trust me man, you won't regret it. You'll laugh so hard your gut'll hurt for days.

The new XCOM games are very fair and very easy and enjoyable. They're perfect for someone with anxiety.

She's supposed to get over her anxiety, not have fun. Give her dead space 1, and when she's gotten used to fighting the enemy throw her amnesia.

>gf

>I will never be a psychologist, the post
Are you one of those people whose friends never ask for advice?

But what are they playing?

Back when I still lived at home during high school and early college and was always super stressed out and having anxiety attacks and shit because of bad home life stuff, I'd play HAWX to soothe myself.

It's a very easy game, and flying planes is satisfying. The missile lock tones are very soothing, and the game rewards both hyper-aggressive ANGERY play like you'd do if you're mad as well as slow, methodical turning dogfighting if you're trying to concentrate on something other than your parents screaming at eachother (and there's even a button to show you a good angle to take, and singleplayer is scripted to always make it work -- the enemy will cooperate and get into your sights.)

The missions are also very slow paced, generally. Defense objectives are almost always very tanky and do a good job of defending themselves as well (it's kinda like AC6: Fires of Liberation in that regard, allied AA actually does work and your wingmen and allied planes will shoot stuff down often)

It's an action game and will take a certain amount of skill, but it's very chill and goes at the player's pace, for the most part. The in-game music is bad so I recommend you turn the music off and have her play it with one of the Ace Combat OSTs and put on the softer tracks, it's GOAT.

There's also campaign co-op if you have two computers and a copy of Hamachi. I've never tried to make it work so I dunno if it's any good, though.

So, who the fuck lost?

How does it feel to have a gf lads

Divinity: Original Sin is the ultimate couples game if you mean to play with her. It was designed around 2-player co-op.

When a game is foreplay, eveybody wins.

OP, what kind of anxiety? Like, typical white people generalized sense of dread over stuff like The Future and Bills and School, or is she having night terrors about boogeymen or thinks the mailman is plotting to kill her or something?

I'm probably actually depressed and had to stop playing DS1 because it's just such bullshit. It's not even that it's that scary -- it's that through no fault of your own as a player, you'll just die because the AI decided to move in a certain way or the game decided to drop health packs instead of ammo or whatever. It's not as bad as something like XCOM Enemy Unknown but I still had to put it down before I got so mad I smashed a printer through my TV or something. I've actually broken a lot of electronics recently over shit like that.

No, I'm pretty good at what I do, and I'm sure most of them would appreciate what a funny scene that would cause.

I know what you're trying to do but after you git gud, XCOM is calming as fuck, even with LW.

I used to take anxiety medication, but few things calm me like making my niggas so OP not even RNG can fuck them and watch ayyyys get bent.

Archon Ruler still triggers the fuck out of me though

>"gitting gud" will make xcom not a shit game driven by RNG and bugs

lmao

Diablo 3

Try Kirby's Epic Yarn or Little Big Planet.

The guy in maroon, because he's pozzed ;(

>Vanilla Outsider
>difficult

My fiancee and I really like playing musou games together. It's a fun time waster and it's certainly not too hard.

do you not see how it's taking cover on literally nothing? the game is B R O K E N

S O F T W A R E B U G S

you sound beta who cant even supoort your girl, she's gonna leave you once tyrone comes along and shows her how to feel safe her anxiety will be lifted and you best believe she wont be playing vidya with him

>oh no, the game complimented me!

>it's a "Sup Forums defends B U G G E D M E C H A N I C S episode"

If ya niggas wanna wreck shit up, the 1st metal slug is perfect for ya. Easy as fuck till the final mission.

You sound like a beta that has NTR fanasies and has no idea what the fuck he's talking about.

>Cyberdick fires on suppressing soldier in dense smoke with 1% chance to hit
>The suppressing soldier is insta killed
>XCOM is calimg as fuck, even with LW
I will fucking bash your head in you little liar shit!

dead rising 1 :)!

ufopaedia.org/index.php/Cover_(EU2012)#Flanking

Play Overwatch together.

Alien:isolation

Rayman origins

triggerd, this aint reddit faget

DR1 is intensely frustrating because the dodge move is literally broken and triggers randomly during play (and does not always trigger on explicit command)

Yeah, that's why I'm wondering why you're here.

Halo trilogy in normal if you guys like shooters and have an Xbox

Also get her to play Forza Horizon (any of the three, really), it's hard to get comfier than Forza Horizon

Also try Portal 2 co-op, it has almost endless content in the Steam workshop

man, math is HARD

where does this guy think he is?

jokes on you games will give her more anxiety, hopoefully to the poiunt where she self loathes and ends her life

>racing games
I don't have anxiety problems, but I don't enjoy racing games because of the pressure of being in first place and having everyone chase you.

That's one of the most discomforting things for me, when people follow me and run after me.

Hyrule Warriors is great for this, especially if you like zelda or waifus. My wife always picks true form midna and now she wants to cosplay as her cuz it makes her feel powerful

Pretty shit.
>Expensive base game
>Pay to win everywhere
>No two copies are the same, one guy's codes will just make yours malfunction
>Bugs everywhere
>Online guides are shit
>No balancing

arcade racing games like NFS, Forza Horizon (as says), and such, fit quite well

If only we'd had more quality arcade racers in the recent years

I'm more concerned that you aren't getting a flanking bonus on a flanked dude.

dont worry about it

Forza 4 lets you advance even if you don't win, and will keep giving you money and cars. You'll make less dosh, but the "brand affinity" and XP bonus stay the same and when you get enough of it for a given brand, upgrades become free and level-ups give you free cars

theres literally no penalty for failure in forza 4

Forgetting
>Loads of cosmetic dlc.
>Massive loading times when you're late.
>Playing the prequels very rarely works and often breaks the sequels.

Yes you can. Go make a thread about video games.

I play EDF with mine all the time.

Zelda games are usually a good option. My non gaming GF loves the shit out of wind waker, and finds it super calming to sail around

Diablo 3 on cuntsole. Ticks all your boxes.

Steam has a local co-op tag you can search. Anyway, this would probably be a good choice: store.steampowered.com/app/252110/
