Microsoft. They implemented so many bad policies around their height with the 360 that it made every other publisher worse in trying to keep up.

Without Nintendo, cannot even hazard to guess what videogames would have evolved into.

Without Sony, no Walkman. That's about all I can think of. Other companies make great game systems, TVs, headphones, stereos, subwoofers, DVD players, mobile phones, etc. so it's mostly down to 'If Sony hadn't brought portable music into sharp public focus, who would have?' and you have to think we would have gotten there before long even without them.

We need Microsoft for PC,I also loved AOE 1 and 2 when I was young. Sony probably makes the consoles with the more appealing hardware but Nintendo still develops more good games and have been doing it for a longer time too, so Sony is out.

What's funny is that years ago, in the Windows 95 days, Microsoft was pimping the hell out of Windows as a gaming platform, with the earliest examples being the Windows port of Pitfall Mayan Adventure and MechWarrior 2. Bill Gates even made a video of himself in DooM, talking about how Windows could become the ultimate game platform, in addition to all the other things Windows could also do.

Then the Xbox happened and shit got worse.

Almost every game I enjoyed and played on playstation probably would have ended up on a nintendo console if they hadn't gotten into the business.

Microsoft hasn't contributed much either, but I use windows all the time so they're safe.
