but already finished it 2 times with all the DLC.

Then DAI is going to be even worse experience.
Its EA throwing leftover SWTOR assets at it making it a single player mmo. If you read synopsis of the story its absolutely retarded and the animations are as bad as you could imagine etc.

If you pirate it you should know using the lunge and slash ability will crash the game.

I actually enjoyed it. The combat is nothing revolutionary, and the characters can be a little overbearingly SJW at times, but I typically enjoyed my experience with it. The setting is interesting and there are some memorable characters that make a return. It's no DA:O, but it redeemed the franchise from DA2 which should be killed with fyre.

It gets incredibly boring once you realize you're playing a single player MMO

I couldn't finish it because it kept crashing on me in a certain place so I couldn't proceed

I harbor an extreme negative bias against DA2 due to the fact I loved DA:O so much that the disappointment I experienced while playing DA2 was something I never got over. I'm still bottomflustered about it. So I can't objectively disagree with you because I have no objectivity.

It's ok if you don't pay for it. There is a FUCK TON of time waster quests with very little reward to them.

Overall, I would never recommend this game to anyone but I wouldn't try to stop you from playing it either.

Only the most delusional Bioshills think its combat is better. At least W3 had one decent boss Imlerith. DAI had none. The dragons were a fucking cakewalk even on Nightmare, and don't even get me started on Cory.

The gameplay isn't the best, but I enjoyed it. Give it a try, there are good lore and beautiful places in it.

Absolutely not, just very hack'n'slash.

I did however change it from hard to easy for the DLCs, since I just didn't want to "enjoy" the HP sponge enemies.

Meh 2 at least had Rivalmance Merrill.

I played this game and not even half way through I was forcing myself to finish it. Everything looks awful the world is dead and every fight is a cake walk.

If you can beat it in a month (easy) and have 5 bucks laying around you can just get origin access. If you dont feel like pirating that is.

OP here, so most people tell me it's fucking shit.

Can someone explain the combat system? is it actually action-rpg when you can actually feel the characters movement and shit? do you actually have control, or it's just point and click only from third person?

If you play with a controller the combat is passable.
If you play with a keyboard and mouse and try to strategize you'll just get frustrated.

There's the classic Bioware quirks, like terrible animation and writing.

Story is nothing to write home about and there isn't anything fun (read: like my japanese anime) to save the experience like in DA2.

There's a mechanic that's literally "Wait 3 hours so you can progress"

The ending is unsatisfying as fuck.

There's a bunch of open areas like the Witcher 3 but they're boring as all hell.

There's just 3 companion characters out of 9 that aren't insufferable.

If you've never played the Dragon Age series, get Origins, because somehow the game made in 2009 is still the superior one. Get DA2 only if you can get it free/dirt cheap, and even then you'll feel robbed.

It's absolute shit, I played as a melee rogue, and it was terrible. Attacks have no weight, and enemies feel like bullet sponges. Hit boxes were clunky, and enemies were hitting me, while I was behind their back.

The removal of tactics forces you to micromanage your party.

You can only use 8 abilities, because the developers want you to "plan ahead". This makes playing mages and archers tedious, since your options are so limited.

Bosses are bullet sponges, there is no tactics, you simply mindlessly attack them until they die.

Did I mention they removed heal?

It's boring with uninteresting characters and MMO style fetch quests.

To add to this, they removed auto attack, so enjoy slamming the attack button 40 times to kill one enemy.
