How does the reboot compare to the original?
How does the reboot compare to the original?
No level design/10
Devs can't make a good level for save his lifes, so they are making Borderlands: Chink edition.
we speak english here
sounds like english to me, might want to get your nose checked
my 7 is english
It's alright.
Was pretty shitty near release since guns barely did anything, but fortunately they fixed it later down the line.
>How does the reboot compare to the original?
It doesn't
It's a completely different game with fairly linear levels and a few secrets.
Still a pretty fun shooter though, the katana is the best and most fun weapon
As a game in general 7/10
disappointing compared to the original
its a reskin of hard reset. so if you liked that you'll have fun with it.
Weak ass nigga. Check my 6, get blown the fuck out.
Pretty much this.
well shit
Yep. You got fucking told. 2 twice.
They got this silly level design setup of "Let's make a livable area.....ok now add in blockade barriers and make you fight 20 enemies before you can proceed."
Well it has a wider color pallet to Hard Reset but kept the cringe faux comic story scenes.
This isn't bad necessarily bad. Serious Sam did it but it was fun and you can see some imagination invested in level design.
SW is just lazy. Now in SW2 they give up and it's a Borderlines clone.
shit
enemy respawn room level design
secrets that amount to simply walking off the main path a little
garbage guns
slow combat
health sponge enemies
rpg mechanics that only serve to make you invincible
katana that heals you to full on each charge attack
terrible, boring bosses that take forever
Should have quit while you were ahead and this is also why niggers will never get anywhere.
All I really wanted in SW1 was some arrow pointing me to the next door instead of wasting 5min trying to figure out where the 'exit' of the current sector of the map is.
i haven't read anything about this game other than knowing it was being made
how is it a borderlands clone? is it open world shit with random loot?
serious sam had the advantage of large areas and large amount of enemies
shit meant to reply to people talking about shadow warrior 2.
when is hiro going to ad a a small grace period to edit posts
yes, the arena combat takes so long by the end of it you're totally turned around and end up backtracking for like 5 mins before you realize you're going the wrong way
overstays its welcome
I had a shitload of fun with the remake!
It's awesome!
He's going to add it right after he adds the ADHD cure for retards like you who can't spend an extra second to make sure they didn't post something retarded you worthless mongoloid.
It has pretty good story
>that one section of the final level that was way harder than the final.boss itself
Took me like 20 tries to clear that bullshit
Original was poor man's chinese duke nukem desu
Reboot is okay but has some serious flaws
>too long, you'll get tired of fights by midgame
>shitty humor
>bulletsponge enemies
>unbalanced weapons, katana is OP
>worst fucking shotgun in videogames (awful feedback, only effective if you fire 4 barrels at point blank range)
I only played the original relatively recently when it caught my attention by being free on Steam, and I didn't like it all that much compared to, say, Duke 3D, because I found it had too much cheap stuff like hitscan enemies everywhere.
About the new game, it's cool and usually fun, but not much more. Most weapons feel extremely lacking down right to fucking useless unless you max out all their upgrades which you can't do for most of the guns unless you know where all the secrets are. I found myself using the Katana 90% of the time because of the selfeal and the specials at least do something compared to most of the guns.
Also, I think the devs were so focused on making the game challenging that they forgot to make it fun. Many enemies are annoying and bulletspongy. The berserkers are the best example, not only are they completely immune against anything that doesn't hit their weak spot, even their weak spot isn't particularly vulnerable. I often unloaded an entire gun's max ammo capacity you can carry into their weak spot and they're still going on like nothing happened. And the bosses weakspots are practically impossible to hit with any weapon that isn't hitscan.
