What does that have to do about what I said? Point is sonyggers get mad at pc a lot, even more than other fanbases since their exclusives are the ones being ported to PC the most.

The reason PC elitists win the console wars is because unlike y'all, we have money to build a PC for our exclusives, and buy your lame console whenever we want (i.e. when there's a library of 5-10 good games that are available in stores and not just on some TGS screen)

They could do it right now if they wanted to, there's no one stopping them from banning PC versions of games. Japaneses games by default don't come to PC, and that's with no pressure from Sony. PC ports are consistently delayed and/or broken, even though Sony is just simply leading the console race.

Lots of them have since like 2014, it was hilarious when that leaked steam list revealed a ton of PS games going there and sony fanboys adamantly claimed it was fake, then turned out to be true.

Japanese devs are looking into the Steam market more and more.

Plus, Sony doesn't lose anything with their games going to PC. The best selling game on PS4 is Black Ops 3, which could be played on Xbone or PC, or even last gen consoles. Sony is fully aware that exclusives have very little draw, it's all about the established IPs.

Not as fast as you'd imagine. Big budget Japanese games like Nioh or Yakuza will forever stay PS4 exclusive, while only smaller, niche stuff will go to PC.

It's actually a bit surprising that Sony don't seem to ever use sales clauses in their exclusivity contracts anymore like they used to, just instead opting for 6 month stretches. Capcom used to be pretty big on that as well, the most famous example being Resident Evil 4.

I don't doubt that Mikami was still pretty angry about the shitstorm going down with the Japanese Microsoft division, since he very much liked the OG Xbone hardware and wanted to develop for that first and foremost.
