is there any way i can logically solve this, or do i just have to guess?

You gotta guess, man.
No, you have to guess. I wish there was a variant of Minesweeper that didn't allow these types of placements to happen.
what do the top left and top right numbers mean again?
Unmark one of the mines and click on it to lose, note the position of the unknown mines, restart game.
left is how many bombs is left (unmarked) and right is score
i remember discussion on a variant that could detect this and moved the mine to the square you didn't click in cases of 50-50 guesses
My money's on the far right squares, both of them.

Jk I'm too tired for this, disregard
That wouldn't satisfy the bottom 4 though.
It's either top right/bottom left or top left/bottom right. Top right would satisfy the top 4 while bottom left would satisfy both the 3 and the bottom 4, top left would satisfy both 4s while bottom right satisfies the 3.
You're dumb only one of the far right squares can have a mine, there will be one contained on the left.
the two on the very right are clean
No, anyone of those could be a mine, or it could be a free space.
Minesweeper will always have outcomes like this. The windows version tends to cut you slack when you have to guess, and will usually pick a blank space in situations like this (Though it's not always guaranteed)
The blank spaces are kitty corner to each other, so you just have to pick one.
bottom right isn't a bomb
That's wrong though. If the two on the left were both mines, then the "4" block on the right would be a 5. The mines are kitty corner to each other.
OP here, I exited out but I guess. The top left and the bottom right were clean.
Wish granted

when i played this game all the time, i saw these square patterns constantly in my life. a neat variant of the tetris effect
do you ever get a mine on the first click?
Not in the windows version, no.
I have on the second
