Why nobody like NFS pro street?
Even carbon got a bit of praise, but pro street is pretty much forgotten.

I fucking love Pro Street. The whole street racer going pro was fantastic and the amount of customization for an arcade racing was astounding.
Is in my top three NFS to date.
I couldn't tell if it was supposed to be arcade style racing or a fail racing sim.
The PS2 version was stripped to death.
Pro street was good but it suffered from horrible rubber banding after the first few competitions.
It was probably the last good decal editor too.
Wii version was more or less like PS2 version, but the entire car custom was like the HD version, aside the wind tunnel. So, yay stickers.
The car selection was pretty damn good too. Shame that people didn't liked too much because it was more a sim than arcade ish like nfs games.
ProStreet had one of the best damage modeling in the history of Need For Speed, still got this screen saved.
I loved the damage detail in Pro Street. I think only Undercover got close, and mostly because I feel they recycled assets BAD
>street racer going pro
This is exactly the reason I don't like it at all.
Best NFS so far released is still the first MW
>Even carbon got a bit of praise
guess i'm only one who fuking love carbon. it gave me initial D vibe
>PROGRESSIVE
fucking dropped
shit game
I'm confused because carbon was extremely popular in my country to the point where most people playing it didn't even know it was part of a long series of games, they simply knew it as 'carbon'
When I finished MW back then, I knew it wouldn't be topped. No other game with street racing came anywhere close to it.
I still love Pro Street
So this is the power of Need For Speed...
On a serious note, back in high school some faggot kept referring to Need For Speed Underground 2 as "Need For Speed 2". I tried explaining to him but he seemed confused, fucking triggered.
because is bugged to hell
and is impossible to finish the campaign
because it starts crashing randomly half the way of the campaign
Most Wanted (PS3 Version) was better
The best is still pic related even after 11 years.
Underground 1 and 2 are very close 2nd and 3rd
>Why nobody like NFS pro street?
Isn't it obvious? it got rid of the whole street racing theme and turned NFS into just another racing series again.
>the 2000's era of ricer shit is long gone and replaced with gaudy shit like stancefags
I want riced piece of shit cars to come back. I'll take neon lights over fucking shitty ugly ass stance shit people are doing these days
>friend is a huge car guy
>has a Subaru WRX
>fucking ruined it by stancing it and putting shitty rims on it
I didn't think it was possible to ruin a Suby but he fucking did it
Most Wanted Remaster when? Everything else is getting one.
Give up user, it's not 2004 anymore. 90% of ricers have aged like a jar of cum out in the sun.
one of my favorite NFS
too bad it's bugged on PC
This I'm playing it right now and I have to say, it's got to be my new favorite NFS title.
The soundtrack is stellar and the driving is pretty neat, tuning actually makes a difference on your car.
As this guy said, PC version is bugged as fuck, sometimes you can't continue the career, having to force exit the game and pray the next time you race the "continue bug" will not fuck you up again.
Still loving it, pic related.
>have a good detailed damaged for the cars
>can't bother modeling the grills
shit, EA what were you doing?
It'll never be Grid
I'd be fine with 2D textured grills for a 2007 multiplatform game, I'm more concerned at the UV mapping errors they clearly didn't give a fuck about even if it's absolutely in your face.
>no decal editor
>no autosculpt
>no comfy race festival atmosphere that ProStreet fucking nailed
No, thank you. Most Wanted is a good game but not the best racing gam evarrrr like so many people say it is.
For what concerns pro pracing, SHIFT2 is easily the best NFS.
Too bad it's optimized like shit and can't use AA and filters otherwise you'll end up playing at 30fps, even with an overkill pc. And using them via gpu control panel doesn't work, fugg
Funny thing, some say this is about steam version. Apparently, origin version is somewhat better, gg ea
I was penniless when Shift 1 and 2 came out so I never played them. Do they have a lot of visual and performance customization on your car like Pro Street?
>what is DSR
SHIFT172 has shit handling man, I love the customization on SHIFT 2 but fucking hell the cars drive like shit
Probably because Shift did what they intended in a better way. I don't dislike it though, but it is not a NFS game I'd put in my top 5 in the series. I respect any game which brings a based Escort into play
>scatta foto
MAMMA MIA
Nobody? Only healthy thinking people will say that ProStreet was last good NFS. NFS ProStreet had best car customization in series. I spend hours in painting cars, and imo i created some nice Mona Lisas of Car Customization.
Decals customization is okay, as usual you're given things you're free to move, rotate, scale etc.
There are also default liveries you can use, some of them are pretty cool, there are between 2-9 or so depending on the car
You get pretty much 4 bodykits for most of the cars, first 3 are normal upgrades, 4th one is included in the final racing upgrade of your car, but that's part of the performance customization which is okay. You also get to tune several settings and in the end I'd say it's somewhat deeper than other nfs
Some cars, like GT2 and GT3 can't be modified (neither visual nor performance), you still get to tune them obviously
I don't know, I think handling wise is an upgrade from the rest of the series. If anything it kinda lacks charisma, forget about backstory, freeroam or comfy festivals.
