They released an updated for the demo today along with the new trailer. It included a new room where you can find ammo for a handgun, a key for the basement and a hand for that celluloid finger.

LETS DISCUSS THE GAME + DEMO CONTINUITY

The new trailer shows the 'dad' being burnt in the car fire, yet he is not burnt at the dinner table. Yet he is burnt when you see him in the demo.

He also is not burnt in the gameplay sections in the new trailer. He is also the only enemy fought in the trailer. Strange...

So timeline:

dinner table> mansion gameplay> car fire> demo

They said in a press release that he's got regenerative abilities to a certain degree.

What's his deal, anyway? Is he spliced with the XYZ-virus or something?

That gun is different from the gun shown earlier in the trailer. The one he fires looks like a glock that he took from the dead police officer shown in the trailer.

Police officer probably is the one who gets killed by a shovel (mentioned in the ESRB leaks)

It would be strange, since the demo size has increased from 3GBs to 6GBs. Surely they put something big in there.

So I downloaded it again and it seemed like the same game to me, even checked if there was an update and it said it was the latest version

I understand Capcom's marketing strategy for this, but MAN they could have handeled it much better.

They wanted to pull of PT, but PT is designed to be infinitely replayable because it's generally unpredictable as fuck. There's repetition, but it's not the exactly the same every single time.

RE7 demo has the same fucking dialogue, the same fucking scripted spooks, every fucking time you replay it, PT didn't, and that kept it scary and people wanting to find more, RE7 demo just becomes annoying and people bashing their head against it.

Discoveries
The new area behind the wall in the telephone room is accessble right from the start.

You don't have to do anything to break away the wall. Just get the fuse as normal, activate the stairs, and head up.

There is a Basement Key on the table by the bed in the new room. Picking it up triggers the telephone ringing, but no use for this new key has been found as of yet.

You can find one Handgun Ammo under the bed in the new room.

You can find a further three Handgun Ammo in a box with yellow tape in the corner by the bed in the new area. You have to smash it with the axe to get it.

The Dummy Finger from the drawer in the hall can be combined with the Object Made from Celluloid. You find this behind the television sets stacked on the floor by the ladder in the new area. Combining the two forms the Dummy's Left Hand.

There's some sort of clue on the wall right next to the television sets where you find the Object Made from Celluloid: "Five guests murdered, but where is unknown. Nothing to point to their final gravestones."

There is new dialogue when you answer the phone. Something about all doors opening, but some being closed for now. Might be hinting at another update or possibly a timed event.

Some of the photographs around the house have changed – for example, the one above the fireplace in the room you wake up in.

The locked brown door in the hall now has burn marks all around it or something.

They release RE:REmake on pc then RE0 which was a good step.
Then they plan on doing RE2 as a remake which might be good or a pile of shit.

Fucking PT knockoff, shitty jumpscares in a scary house which is anything but scary or even atmospheric, hell the enemies aren't even zombies, what the fuck are they meant to be gonadoes?
