Nintendo is going to do a Sega Saturn type reveal. They will reveal it on Nintendo Direct and it will be available in select retail stores that same day.

Impossible to do that in this day and age without it leaking all over the place weeks before.

It's gonna be a tablet device about the size of a galaxy note 7. It will be both Nintendo's next gen handheld and home console, being able to pick it up and go, playing games on it like you would on a tablet or using peripherals that would allow for more tradition controls. Or use at home by docking it into you television, using it as the controller (like the wii U gamepad but without the console box) and use it as a more traditional console.

reminder that Nintendo is two generations behind at this point. PS4Pro and X1 are gen 8.5, introducing pseudo 4K then we'll get 4K almost 30fps with the PS5 and the Xbox Two. meanwhile Nintendo will be releasing their pseudo 4K device maybe ten years from now.
