A) You don't know if it's shit if you haven't played it

>A) You don't know if it's shit if you haven't played it
>B) You'd have to be retarded for not being able to see it's shit from the first trailer

>C) 1500 hours in a game and i don't like it
>D) 30 minutes in a game and i don't like it

Which of these are you Sup Forums?

(C)

>I'm not actually calling it shit, but the first 5 minutes were shit and I don't want to invest more time in it

>It's not really shit, it's just a theme/style/genre I don't appreciate

E) i dont give a shit

More like 307 days logged in to one character and I hate it.

B, but I didn't expect that many people to lap it up.

B or D

i can generally look at a game a tell if its shit

I also force myself to play games that Sup Forums think are shit like MGSV

I fucking loved mgs

B but maybe not the first trailer
The first trailer made me think it was a cheap indie game

B

The stupidity and gullibility of some people is disappointing, yet not unexpected.

B is for master race.
Only children buy shit without looking into it first

>advertise game as procedurally generated
>equates to: we took no effort to handcraft anything ourselves so we let a computer smash lego pieces together for us

You'd have to be retarded for not being able to see it's shit from the first trailer

What game dude?

B

I've learned to never get my hopes up for anything. I wait until there's a demo I can play, or to see what Sup Forums thinks of a game. I trust Sup Forums more than any other authority.

>B) You'd have to be retarded for not being able to see it's shit from the first trailer

Not necessarily the first trailer, but all of them taken together proved it. Really I can't see how anyone who's watched plenty of vidya releases can't tell a games almost certainly shit before it actually releases.

Probably B but I more just never get hyped for any game ever now, in fact I can't remember the last time I paid full price for a game just wait 6 months for the GoTY edition to go on sale at like 60% off

Spore had actual gameplay

D.

Granted, Mother 3 got good about 30 hours in, and then it was completely worth it.

Honestly I probably grab NMS when the price drops drastically. I don't care about the lies because I never expected anything more than what we got. I learned long ago that getting too hyped for a game only leads to disappointment.

A, then D.
Every time.

Z) 1hour 59 minutes. Don't like. Refund. PC masterace

>putting hundreds of hours into a game you don't like
i don't really understand people who do this.

B, C and D

C and D because in multiplayer games I don't really care about quality, it just have to be cheap so every friend can buy it at the spot

B

Is there a ballpark number on how many copies were sold??

F) I just want to watch the world burn

A+B

these retarded numales shuld be in prison

>I trust Sup Forums more than any other authority.
This so fucking much
I don't get all the threads that go like
>Sup Forums lied to me
Never fucking happend to me, in fact this board saved me from Bioshock Infinite and made me buy Dragons Dogma that i would have wasted time on otherwise

Generally I'm D.

Its understandable if there's no other games that deliver the sort of experience the player is looking for.

For instance, Elder Scrolls games. Nobody competes with Bethesda, so if a player wants an open-world, choose-your-own-adventure fantasy game, they're stuck with TES games.

>buy

(B)

so I pirated it, played it for a couple hours and moved on. I'll probably pick it up again eventually. It's worth around $15 but it's the deceitfulness that left the sour taste in my mouth and not so much the game

B, and D only if I for some reason impulsively buy a game.

Allegedly there where so many people on playstation that wanted a refund that Sony just changed their refund policy for specifically NMS

Do steamspy check for refunds?

The trailer alone should be enough to help you distinguish an awful game from a potentially decent game but if you want to distinguish a decent game from a great one you have to play it for a short time.

D is probably the best answer

>bottom left

All I can see is Brian Blessed.

B

Wow so many white nu-males there, so fucking disgusting. Glad this backfired.

One of them is a woman

Backlash or no.
Limited refunds or no

These people are all rich now

You get that right?
It topped all sales charts

Sean Murray is a millionaire now.
Accept it

funny thing - depending on what the terms of Sony's bailout when the studio was days away from bankruptcy are - he might not be

Doesn't steam only pay at the end of each month?
Then he won't receive much because of all refunds.
Don't know about sony's policies

>B

Logically thinking about a game engine I was easily able to tell what they were lying about and what they would never do. Also the gameplay videos always looked bad

I'm the 1 hour and 59 minutes type of guy

B
I didn't know it was going to be shit from the first tralier but after trailer started being very vague on actual gameplay I started to become very skeptical
and then when the """""""survive""""""" trailer came out i knew it was going to be because it was only a minute long and the only survival elements in the video were the absolute bare minimum to be considered a "survival"

they changed it to allow people to get refunds easier or restrict it to reduce the loss of money?

Spore was objectively a better and more fun game.

>MAC (^:

It all makes sense now.

I never quite understood thisphoto. What exactly is going on there.

Steam should move it to 4 hours imo.

>made me buy Dragons Dogma

But you've been tricked right there. Dragon's Dogma is MMO-style trash.

Your answer are all too extreme my friend.
A is kinda right but everything else is strawman tier. I must have spent like 3 hours before deciding I don't like it.
