Dropped like a mother fucking 10 ton rock. They ruined a cool character to make another heroics sewking soldier boy, what i liked about Ratchet was he was some bumpkin that fell into a grander situation and he got to try new things away from his garage. He wasn't at all trying to be a hero and half the game his motivation is to kick Quark's faggot ass.

nah he already finishes that arc in the first game. After he pwns Quark he mans up, plays the hero and bros it up with Clank.

You can't just reset him to asshole again.

That not how character development works. He didn't "man up" he just set his sights on chairman Drek when he targeted his home planet. He DID realize the folly of his path for revenge but was no gung ho "lets save the fucking galaxy, yeah!" walking cartoon trope he became.

He didn't even realise Veldin was targeted until Quartu did he? He already committed to saving the galaxy after Quark "died".

Besides that, literally every single course of action he took he did because he would get something out of it. Ratchet is so far from being a selfless being in the first game.

It's OK. If you haven't played Ratchet in a while you'll like it.

It's one of the best R&C games and they did a good job of rebooting the series but still keeping it recognizable, but fresh.

My only complaint is the length. It's kind of short.
