Some of it. It's not fair to lump it all into one thing because many of the stories had different writers. There were writers for each Class story, and a writer for Imperial side quests and another for Republic side quests. Each faction had different teams, which is why vanilla Empire had better quests than Republic side.

No you have to show the dualism in Good and Evil. A true sith knows to manipulate the Good in others to release the Evil. (Senor Palapatine). Kreia attempted the same and failed in canon.

Maybe I have a bad sense of humor, but I loved the Smuggler story. Star Wars is so full of bad writing that it's refreshing to see a story in the universe that was intentionally written to be as awful as possible. The RSPCA in space plot had me in stitches.
