But that trailer was just a cgi short film made by that hungarian studio that made Kingsglaive. It was only "inspired by Final Fantasy XV" and nothing in that trailer will be in the game. They had a lot of creative freedom, that's why it feel so different from the game.

It's not edgy in the slightest, what you saw on the trailer was the result of bad decisions. His reaction after noticing the mistake is what makes him human. If it were edgy, he wouldn't react like the way he did, he would otherwise start enjoying all the chaos that he brought and would go fuck Luna's corpse, THAT's edgy.
