I also played RE Zero (and it kinda sucked in comparison).

4 is excellent, 5 is alright, 6 is bad but it's worth it for grown up Sherry and Mercs.

1 was a mastahpiece.

4 is possibly the greatest game of last decade, and easily one of the best action games of all time.

5 is worse, but still a great time with another player in co-op. Very boring with AI. Lots of unlockable content too.

6 is so bad it kinda comes full circle and becomes novelty fun. The level design and pacing is absolyte shit, but the controls are cool, and it has the best Mercenaries Mode.

4 is amazing, I would say it is a must play.

5 is worth it if you have someone to play with.

I enjoyed my time with 6, but the campaign levels are so forgettable or bad it really hurts it's replay value.

$20 for all those games is a really good deal. It's worth the asking price.

RE4 is a bit outdated but it's a fantastic game, all the same. All it takes is getting used to how it plays and you're good.

RE5 is best played with a friend. In terms of gameplay it's a more refined version of RE4 but it lacks it's charm, variety, and excellent level and enemy design. 4 at least had the benifit of being made by the same people as 1 and it's remake, but 5 was the first game to be made by a very different group of people and it shows when you have the controller in your hands.

RE6 has a lot of bumps. The first chapter of Leon's campaing is really poorly made but the game has a lot of good things to offer once you learn the nuinces and different mechanics. It's a far cry from survival horror and it drops all pretence of being remotly like its predocessors. Makes the mistake of trying to please everyone and in the end pleases only a few. I still like it and think it's worth a check out.

RE4 is fantastic and should be experienced by everyone.
RE5 is really fun with a friend, decent for soloing. Mercenaries is the shit if you enjoy the gameplay.
RE6 takes some risks with the gameplay and if you're lucky they might just tickle your fancy enough to consider it the most entertaining RE in terms of gameplay to date, like I did. I could play Mercenaries for a whole week. The campaigns are pretty bad. With Leon's being the only one that raises from mediocre.
Revelations 2 is also worth a look. I personally really didn't like Revelations 1, which makes it the only RE game I haven't enjoyed besides the first Gun Survivor. Dead Aim is fucking AMAZING.

The only games worth playing are:

RE1 = Great
RE2 = Great
RE3 = Great
RE0 = Decent

Get the HD Remaster for 1 and 0. Wait for HD Remaster of 2 which is being worked on and there will eventually be a HD Remaster of 3. Only buy these 3 games.

Resident Evil 7 is a wildcard, will have to wait and see how it plays.

Anything worth my time in the Halloween Steam sale? Already played RE games and I just beat F.E.A.R. so I'll go through the expansions then F.E.A.R. 2. Nothing else pops out at me.
