Nah not really, paragon is pretty easy to get into, especially since it doesn't have a huge 100+ roster yet and because of third person view is much more instinctive.

You can just jump in. The card system means you don't have access to everything at the start which means you don't have to memorize 280 items at once, and it's all pretty intuitive.

you have to build a deck/use a prebuilt deck of cards you pick before the game ever starts. so not only do you have to buy the right stuff right time if someone goes afk and you need more damage hahahaha fuck you for picking a support deck

This really is a good game, but these threads are shit

They are literally just items from other games, only difference is you pick your build at the beginning of the match. You're probably not going to bother with building decks until at leas lvl 5 anyway and use default ones. In a way it's even simpler than shops in other mobas, since you don't have to browse through 200 item large shop as a total newbie.

It is the best moba I've ever played but it's still a moba, so it depends if you like them. I think it has a lot of potential and the gameplay is very enjoyable, but bear in mind its still in beta, so there is still quite a lot of content to be added and some balance issues.

You do, but it's not like better cards are a gamechanger, you can easily build perfectly viable decks from basic cards only. Besides unlocking new ones is pretty fast especially on lower levels, and you can't buy them with cash so no p2w faggots.

Well, this guy sound like a butthurt shitposter, but what he says is generally correct: the deck system gives you very little opportunities to re-class midgame. However, it's not something you do often in other mobas either and it have literally never been a problem to me and I play since early access. Also, it's rather a marginal issue when it comes to gameplay in general.

If I were you I would just try it. Maybe you'll like it and maybe not, but it's free so you have nothing to lose except for few hours really.
