I beat a lot of games back then because i wasnt a perfectionist on my runs (i die on level one or two anf i either quit or restart the whole game.
Plus I always left games on the mid because they bore me pretty quick.

I was kinda good at Quake (1, 2 and 3) and most "arena" multiplayer FPS when I was a kid/teenager and they were kind of a big thing around the area I lived in, either that or people around there sucked dicks on them, but most likely a combination of both.
Back at that time I only ever fought against ONE guy who could beat me comfortably, but I never saw him again after he bodied me, and I sort of quit playing after that for a multitude of reasons, main being CS started being a thing and fuck that shit.
