Reason'ing is it's a sandbox game. You have to set your own goals and try to meet them. It's a game that requires "effort" in a way that other games do not. If you find yourself able to put forth some effort in the game, then you may be able to translate that into effort IRL, which for me, is something I have a very, very hard time doing.
