Well I never gave a shit about resolution, the only reason why I finally got a big flat screen was from how cheap they are nowadays, plus I got sick of looking at teeny weeny font. Fuck that shit.

This is what I'm assuming the general consumer's train of thought is going to be when it comes to these consoles. Most console games are probably used to big generation upgrades, not just small incremental ones that they don't even control.

These upgraded consoles are literally only for people that either A) want to blow money playing whatever game/4k movie on that console just a bit better or B) Never had the console to begin with.

How about a more relevant comparison, say the New 3DS?
