How long until EO games will move on the vita?
How long until EO games will move on the vita?
This looks like a top down game. I thought they were first person dungeon crawlers?
>triple digits
>007
It's a Mystery Dungeon spinoff
Vita's dying faster than 3DS so never.
EO will probably never leave 3ds. I'd like to see one on the switch, but having no touchscreen would be detrimental.
Oh cool. I hate first person dungeon crawler genre but the mystery dungeon spinoff might be something for me.
We literally don't know yet if it has a touchscreen or not.
Switch has a touch screen though?
Be aware there are some game breaking bugs (DON'T USE PRINCESS)
I bought it a while back but never got around to playing it so I can't say for sure but I heard it's not particularly good. You can ask around the EO general for their opinion but if you are interested in a mystery dungeon game then the Pokemon ones are probably your best bet.
The issue with the Switch is that EO big thing is making map making quick and easy with the second screen. The Switch is just a single screen (portable mode or TV mode) so the one interesting thing about EO is gon.
It's ridiculous fun (EO4) but how the shit am I supposed to grind with the rising inn prices? Maybe I'm grinding at places too hard.
>grinding
Well you probably shouldn't need to grind in EO4, but if you must, just feed the Dreameaters on the 2nd overworld map a Golden Stinkhorn and they'll turn into a rare breed, which gives a shitload of exp.
Hopefully never because EO sucks and 3DS is welcome to keep it.
Ah, yea, someone mentioned it.
>shouldn't need to
Yea, I could probably handle it and I'm just whining. I haven't actually had any real issues so far, but I'm VERY VERY accustomed to JRPGs where everytime you go to a new area, you MUST grind for a while.
I'll try to keep that in mind.
My 3ds is hacked so it's not a huge investment even if I don't like it.
EO4 is my first try with it. Tried to the demo and fell in love with it. It's not my type of game but it's really quite fun.
Same, started EO4 just yesterday and played non-stop until i got to the second field area
I did try Class of Heroes 2 some time before but it didn't click with me, i'm surprised EO4 clicked so well even though it's so similar
BUT OFFICER SHE'S REALLY OVER 10000000000000 YEARS OLD!!
>even if EO comes to switch drawing the map with your finger will never be as satisfying as that sweet stylus-on-resistive-touchscreen action
EO4/EO5/EOU/EOU2 work fine on the console with single screen(2ds), so your argument is retarded
I haven't tried it yet, I want to use the princess though. What kind of bugs does it have?
I absolutely hate touch screens that use your finger instead of a stylus
The map making in EO4 is fantastic. I am amazed how great a job they did. I thought it would be as shit as all other uses of the stylus in drawing. But no, it's VERY VERY good.
Apparently it's something to do with some of her order skills.
2ds has 2 screens though?
2ds has two screens faggot
No, it's one screen divided by plastic
...
If you spam her attack order skill then you can permanently raise a characters offense. This is because when the buff wears off instead of lowering you offense back to normal it only takes the last time you used it into account. So if you used it three times in a row your character will have permanent boost of two attack orders.
The game still see it as two different screens. It acts just like a 3DS. Switch however acts as just one screen.
You are not supposed to. There's no need to grind in any EO game.
It's possible to blow through EO without stopping to grind, but it does save some headache. Sometimes, you'll want to reallocate your skill points at the cost of a couple levels: 2 for the 3ds games, and 5 for the ds games. Those levels won't make a huge difference, but if you're a point short for a skill you need, or you just like experimenting with your builds, get ready to kill some sheep.
cute
Thanks. I'll keep it in mind.
What's up with hitting lvl 30? I retire them and rehire them to get more skllpoints or something?
What stops them from making eo6 see it as a 2 screens too? Nothing
You just mad because your "muh 2 screens" argument was retarded, almost as retarded as you are
Retiring gets characters extra stats and skill points. The higher level you do it, the more you get. Until lv 80+, you don't get nearly enough to warrant grinding back up, and at 99 you get +10 to all stats. So you don't have to worry about it until postgame.
So you don't recommend doing it till new game+?
If it's easily avoidable and can't prevent you from advancing it's not so bad.
Not really. I usually do it at lv 60 so I can tackle the bonus dungeon. In EO it goes something like this:
30: +4 skill points, +1 all stats
40: +5 skill points, +2 all stats
50: +6 skill points, +3 all stats
60: +7 skill points, +4 all stats
70: +8 skill points, +5 all stats
99: +10 skill points, +10 all stats
In 4 I remember there being items that boosted your stats up to where you should be when you unlock a new class. Might be worth retiring someone and then using one of those items on them.
Do it in the endgame.
I usually like to do it once at level 30 for those extra 4 points, again at 70 once I beat the game and then at 99 for when I'm about to wrap up the 6th stratum and I wanna get super min-maxey.
>still no EOV localization announced yet even though SMTIVA has been out for over a month
>EO's defining gameplay mechanic is incompatible with the Switch
>tfw my favorite JRPG series is probably going to die
The game could easily be designed so it's doable with one screen. It wouldn't be bad to receive a spiritual successor.
When Sony decides to revive support for it :^)
All vita has are weebshit DRPGs that bank on sex appeal to sell.
Atlus USA is busy with Persona 5, expect EOV localization announcement after February. Though I wonder why they didn't just give it to some other company.
>FOEs are incompatible with switch
Please explain
I don't give a shit about EOV, I'm sad at this rate we'll never get Untold 3!
I'm using that.
Is she a milenom girl?
Would you get BLACKED?
give me one reason to resume playing lagaard
it's not as fun as the first game and the art is worse. I also get massive framedrops when I look at floor hazards
>and the art is worse
bait
the 3d areas look worse. most portraits are also pretty bad.
How relevant is that Natalie girl in the game?
untold 2 is the best game in the series next to 4, go play that one.
does anyone actually like the map drawing bullshit? that's just a cheap excuse to make the game longer
>anything
>moving to the Vita
lol
>does anyone actually like the map drawing bullshit? that's just a cheap excuse to make the game longer
Look at him and laugh.
Only finished 3 here
Do i tackle 4 or the 3ds 1+2 remakes?
preferably one that does not swims in dlc stuff
Well, they made it optional since series moved to the 3ds
That's just a random npc of runemaster, her real name is comfs.
Vita dead soon. Sure it will easily outlive the 3DS but there is only so long a console can last and without a sucessor the Switch is the last hope for handhelds.
I thought the Vita was a port machine. I know at least a few series that got enhanced ports to it. Some went to PC after.
Wait, why does this comic read left to right if it's by Namori?
>you can permanently raise a characters offense
I've never played EO before, but, isn't that a good thing?
...
...
Where can I find more of the comic?
it's obviously gamebreaking
If you want to utterly break the game, sure.
is cheating a good thing, user?
Oh, I thought it's the other "game breaking".
How was EOV btw?
Where do I get more notyuruyuri
Switch is wide. The map can be easily put on the left/right side.
I need a loli in a tuxedo on the double!
As meh as you can possibly get.
The only slightly good thing is the party building. But that dosen't account for dull design dungeon wise.
Even if the Switch doesn't have a touch screen right away they're supposed to be making a bunch of peripherals for it. If the Switch ends up taking the place of both Nintendo's consoles and handhelds, they're going to need to make some kind of second screen just for the sake of backwards compatibility.
It's been confirmed for multi touch, the bad thing is it's going to be focused on finger touching which is hard to draw maps with
You seem to have no autism. I do congratulate you but please don't think for a second that the majority of EO players shares that lack.
Famitsu confirmed no plans for BC on wii u or 3ds.
Apparently there was something called SQ TIMES that ran on Famitsu every so often by different artists promoting the game. Good luck finding more scanlated, but there should be samples on the atlus blog. Maybe try /vg/.
>the state of EO
pls respond
Try the demos.
Go 4 first
The boobs ruined it.
