One of the most boring games in the series.
Boring plot, boring characters, extremely boring and broken gameplay.
Graphics were pretty good for its time though.

Weird how it ended up looking and playing better than nearly every other title for an entire generation considering how early it released. It's the title that convinced me other game developers simply didn't give a shit

They cheat a bit by having loading screens for each room and fog/darnkess that leaves the world tiny. Allows them to use super detailed textures for everything.

They're also really good at characters and modelling. Sh2 they'r ea little awkward but by 3 they had perfected it.

SH3 had different modelers and model director. SH2 and 4 had the same modelers.

Recently played through SH2 for the first time and enjoyed it, is 3 worth my time? I always hear that 2 is the best one.

i felt very emotional after finishing it, i felt bad about my edning with james. i just remeber him getting back into the row boat that he got into the hotel with. i should play it again. i got the PS2 version

i also loved the first one too, i have 3 but havet bothered playing it. i really want to play 4:the room. i had it but never finished it

Yea man, wish they could've got Troy Baker and Tara Strong.

But you gotta admit, that fog looks pretty amazing for what it is. Does a really great job of both hiding the scenery loading and making the atmosphere that much dreary.
