Did Ape Escape as a series sell so poorly that Sony dropped it, or was it dropped because it didn't fit the "mature games for mature gamers such as myself" image they've been going for?

A bit of both. It's largely their fault though because after Ape Escape 3 they just kept making shitty spin-off after shitty spin-off instead of a proper Ape Escape. If you keep making spin-offs, no shit the franchise will sell worse? Fuck Sony.

I assume it had something to do with the spin offs ruining the chance of the series being one of the best platformer franchises since the main series was only 3 games.

I could rip it myself from the rom, but it's a lot of effort depending on game. I'm sure the Models Resources guys got enough on their hands as well ripping models from more popular titles.

I just hope someone has to time to do it, son many games could have the models available, i remember a guy trying to put Playstation related models for MMD and he had links from other people on DeviantArt, one of the models was Kat from Gravity Rush wish managed to be in SFM Lab
