Hey I really want to play Baldur's Gate but... shit...

A friend and I have spent over 200 hours playing a no-death/no-reload run of BG2:EE.

One of the best games of all time.

>EE
why

>cant decide who should i play
>chose paladin inquisitor every single time
Comfy two handed sword, good charisma so you will always be the leader of the party (yeah i know theres this ring giving 18 cha in irenicus dungeon but whatever) and some good ways to deal with magic = perfect
You have 10 rolls to find better class for leading character protip: you cant

We just disable the latest patch in Steam. It's substantially more convenient to get running. It was only the last patch that Beamdog fucked everything.

Blackguard
Wizard
Cleric

I'm Neutral Good. Does the alignment make any difference?

Does this game have a German language option or patch?

crpg are usually biased toward good characters
you usually get better xp/item rewards for doing quests the "good" way instead of being greedy for shekels but your evil characters might abandon you if you do too much good shit (not 100% sure about that tho)

It affects certain spells and NPC dispositions/dialogue. Nothing major though. Starting reputation might be affected by it as well. It becomes a bit more relevant in Throne of Bhaal which also gives you the opportunity to switch your alignment though, depending on your in-game choices. Overall, it's not that important.

I don't know about EE, but the regular Baldur's Gate 2 had a German release.

What's the problem?

Played the game for 2 years every day for several hours. Might have clocked +1000 hours in it. That was pre-steam though so there's no way to know exactly.

I always try to play no classes but then I remember the OP equipment spellcasters get, so it's usually a sorcerer.

Ranger/Cleric is fine too, though.

Play Neverwinter Nights I

>new classes

How many of you found it on their own?

What's the best shapeshifter mod to make werewolves not shit?

the EE versions are literally for dicksuckers

Oh, but I can, user. Paladin - Cavalier
Inquisitor is still equal-best, though.

>Blackguard

>Oh, a trapped door, looks interesting!
>I'd better go and investigate...

>I'd better go and investigate...

Only works with a rogue stone in your inventory and I imagine most people sell them right away. I was stunned when I eventually found the Twisted Rune.

>some people don't hoard all the expensive gemstones they find
I never sell any of them, only the cheap ones, so the first time I found them was just by randomly wandering into the building, and I got my face smashed in.
It's a fun surprise, though.

Shit, that actually sounds really fun.

I'm guessing it leads to a lot of "fight or flight" moments. Sounds wonderful.

>Blackguard

mah nigga.
