The Redguards are unmatched in military strength and prowess, having combat down to an art.

They successfully genocided an entire sub-race of elves back on their origin continent which they had to abandon after someone used a forbidden technique of sword-singing (channeling one's soul into a sword) and ruined the entire landmass, cleaving it down to Nirn's foundation. Their religion/belief system has an awareness of the nature of the universe as kalpa, and can even manage to survive turnings in some instances.

From a purely evolutionary standpoint I would have to go with Argonians.

They can heal fast, are immune to poisons, can survive in harsh environments that would kill almost anything else, have natural weapons and despite having all the benefits that would come with being a lizard (such as protective scales and claws and such) are also warm blooded so they don't die in the cold.

So yeah. In terms of raw evolutionary potential Argonians are the top dogs.

Much like most other races in Tamriel the Redguard are a shadow of what they once were. If you read the lore for most races in Tamriel you'll find that they used to be awesome at one point before some catastrophe or disconnection from their ancestors or some other bullshit fucked them over and left them a shadow of their former glory.

Like the Orismer, the Dunmer, etc. Redguard sword-singing techniques are mostly lost in contemporary Elder Scrolls lore. That's why you never see any Redguards using it.

They literally did do it via good skooma trips. Skooma allows for traveling through dreams if you know how. Get enough drugged out punchcats dreaming about the same thing together and it happens for real.

There are a few that know about it but none of the common folk know. The never published Second Handbook of the Empire or whatever talks about it. In game the book was never published and the writers were executed because the contents revealed too much about how "reality" actually worked.

Not really sure what that means, as it is quite literally in the lore. But the Shehai Shen She Ru itself was an exclusive school and a carefully mastered art. Not every single Redguard could do it. The emperor of Yokuda at the time got so scared of them that he launched a targeted slaughter and they had to leave, sailing to Hammerfell. Many of the old ways were lost in the flight, though the art is still "admired by other warriors."
