WAGGLE YOUR WILLY LADS WOOO *waggles* HOPE YOURE PALYING LIQUORIA 2

Pretty good. I would go after the Antilles, but fuck going to war with 5 different European countries just for a bunch of shitty islands.

Playing as Poland, conquered Germany and France in the Second World war. Rebels are flooding the Great Powers. They turned communist, facist, anarcho-liberal all together in just 10 years.

Why is converting catholics and mudslimes to paganism so fucking hard

because going from worshiping one god to a bunch of gods doesn't make sense.

At least going from Christian to Muslim and vice versa you're still worshiping the same God.

>tfw WW1 was over freeing Ruthenia from Austria-Hungary

Playing as Burgundy and working to wipe out France then taking England's southern coast.

>HoI4 is a casual game
>still get rekt by AI

Help.

Can't wait for the HoI4 dlc
youtube.com/watch?v=QCbK6ZmJ0MM

...

I never played eu3, is it as boring as eu4? Are there more things to do than paint the map?

EU3 is objectively worse than EU4. If you find Eu4 boring, play Liquoria instead.

Bad,the ottomans are literally unstoppable.

Fucking Italians, Leave Ethiopia Alone.

>colonizing Sibria
You serve to be raped, user.

I will be raped soon. The ottomans are out for me.
The worst part is that I helped the ottomans war against Russia, then those fucking roaches back-stabbed me during I my crusade against the french.

Playing Kaiser Reich as Finland. Tried to play a cozy low effort game but somehow the Commune of France absolutley destroyed Germany and Austria and the Soviets won the Russian Civil War along with syndicalist spain and Italy coming into power. Finland is pretty much the only relevant European country that is not syndicalist, but the Soviets have been massing like 150 divisions on my border so I'm probably going to have to join the entente.

Filthy gaijin prease stoppu

>helped the ottomans war against Russia
You deserved it
>crusade against the French
You can't crusade against fellow Christians unless they're Cathar scum.

Catholics aren't real Christians Friend.

Get the fuck out prod scum

Still figuring EU4 out.

Annexed my two vassals causing crazy amounts of border gore (I converted from CK2), and Rome is continuing to rise. It's long eclipsed the Persians by now and the only thing that can match it is the Ming.

t. Protest*nt scum

You have a huge country full of shitty land. Wage a massive war of attrition on them. Do it long enough for them to go bankrupt if you must. Once that happens, they'll start collapsing from rebels.

Bad.
CK2 player. How can I induce AI blobs to collapse? AI cater France and Umayyad Spain are unstoppable

What should I do with daughters in CKII?

Marry them to some far away empire that suggests it or marry her to vassals and neighbours etc?

Wait for a Crusade and hit and run their coastline with sieges.

Failing that, see if there isn't a claimant for a kingdom that you can put on the throne. That's how I caused the collapse of the Mongols; by putting a claimant for Tartaria and splitting the empire up, which led to EVERYONE revolting.

The Mongols eventually came back, but they were completely irrelevant for 299 years, which by then I was easily the dominant power along with an AI reformed Persian Empire and one empire who managed to damn near unite all of Poo in Loo.
If you got Conclave? Marry her to a kid of the one Empire that could actually fight you. That's how I got downtime from fighting the Persians.

Favor system is fucking broken.

matrilinial marriage to highskill retainers from outside your realm. Great way to recruit disposable army leaders (if they die, you just have the daughter marry another one)

>attrition on AI
If only. Attrition cap and the way it works for AI make it a really bad strategy.

That's partly how I defeated the Ottomans in my last game. It doesn't work as well as it reasonably should, but countries with huge armies like the Ottomans tend to move their stacks around a lot and to waste a lot of manpower because of it.

>die
>play as their brother
>pick the seduction focus
>fuck the ones with good genes
>make genius, attractive, strong inbreds

I was just at war with them and have to wait until 1797 before I can declare another one.
They're also 7K in debt and I have no man power left.

Should I make Algiers a march and give them Morocco?

One of the funniest playthrough I've done.

>teutons

What's wrong with teutons ?

...

Don't mind me, just waiting for the ice to crack :^)

I remember back when there were only a few DLCs released I played as Portugal and had monthly profit of over a thousand ducats despite only having historical borders. Is it still possible?

So, is it still possible to get achievements when you've pirated all the DLC?

You just posted a picture of the default Germany start in HOI3

Why? Am I supposed to be impressed?

what is the best jap to start as

Who /Kaiserreich/ Here?

Willy needs help killing all those disgusting syndies.

Stop being so shit

the AI in HOI4 is literal garbage

Just spam infantry divisions with 7x inf - 2x art - and an engineer and recon company as support and you will be able to stop anything

I conquered Russia as Poland with that setup. Just inf and cav divisions. No armor.

So which EU is the best to start with?

The Teutons were some of the least holy pieces of shit in history
They didn't give a single shit about crusading for honor and for the holy land, they only cared about money and power
They also attacked Christians for no reason

>willy
>not National France turned into French Empire
lmaoing at your navy

Napoopan pls, your dynasty is fucking dead

perse is finnish for ass, and it looks to be pretty accurate.

>been an adhd cod fuck for years
>want to get into startegy gayman
The civilization series looks interesting but what mindset do you need to bring into it?

Wrong thread.

Civilization is two pegs lower in the strategy hierarchy.

Civilization is 4x.
Grand Start is next level autism.

Be prepared to go through periods where you wait for something to happen.

Even games where there is always something going on like CK2 you have periods where you are like "nothing to do but wait for the years to pass I guess"

Breddy gud

Only difficulty atm is fighting the aztecs because by the time I've assembled, moved and shipped my armies all across the empire they've already tallied up a huge warscore.

>Palaiologos are dead
I guess there's no reason to not annex Byzantium now.

If you can stand to listen through these you are golden.

Why would you want to play as the German Empire in KR? the German Empire is more of a final boss than a playable nation. If you at least understand the concept of war than you pretty much already won the game since Germany is in such a strong position and can steam roll Commune France in 1936. National France/ Canada is pretty fun since you're no where near as strong as you used to be, and have to wrangle into your alliance former allies like the US, Russia or Italy as well as building up an army to retake Britain and as much of France as possible when the syndies fail. After the Syndies fall in the second weltkreig you then have to build up more and fight the final boss which is the German Empire

Did you expect anything else from the eternal german?

I guess I'll just repeat myself. What's wrong with teutons ?

>Why would you want to play as the German Empire in KR

Because they got the most events? That alone should be a good enough reason lad.

>Playing with Sunset invasion
>That fucking blob

Disgusting borders
kys

do remember the minute the war ends the AI automatically gets its war exhaustion reduced to zero
its impossible for the AI to lose the peace

pretty good so far

Actually the first play through I've done with them, as I thought they might be able to do a bit to stop my current size and general invulnerability.

Turns out they did jack shit and I actually had to load in as them and press some claims, literally the only land they conquered for ~150 years was 2 counties in ireland and 3 in portugal

fight me

honestly the horse should be locked to loyalist and vote exactly as you do
after all its still a fuggen horse

this game looks neat but i mostly just want to see alternate history go on

youtube.com/watch?v=xz4VNMm2nrA

First time playing Burgundy since vanilla.
A billion expansions in, allied war AI is still garbage

it is loyal, but it demands a title

I sincerely hope you don't plan on porting to EU4.

Been trying to play Stellaris lately, getting bored pretty fast with it.

WE

I AM ANGRY

ANGRY ABOUT SLAVS

Hospitallers>Teutons>Shit>Germany>"""Templars"""

I'm pretty new to EU4, how the fuck does the trade system work? Am I supposed to send my traders to collect, steer or whatever? Should I do it in the lands of other empires or my own? I think one of the loading screens says that trading centres in my empire collect automatically, but sending traders there still nets some money. Then there's also "stealing" from someone else's trade nodes and I just don't know what the fuck is going on with that, sometimes other empires have more power than me in my own trade nodes, how is that trade power determined and how do I affect it? Does sending ships to protect trade actually do anything?

You guys are fucking cunts. One Roman user gets bodied by both aztecs and mongols and you find what he's doing great.

Meanwhile gets one of the coolest Roman Empires running and you shit all over it. Fuck you all, you're no better than reddit.

You keep on doing you, bro, I'm with you.

HOL UP

Will you fuck off?

Idk i play civ :^)

To be fair, it's funny, because that FE never had a white leader or scientist or general at all.

I GOT MEMED I REACH 1890 AND LIQUOR FACTORIES GET BANKRUPT
I got a map like that in hpm with the belgian except that I got the Italian colonies because of some weird dismantle empire mechanic. Even if most of the fighting was made by meme countries.

remind that ALL of the endgame crisises are bugged to some extent

there's the universal bug of the galaxy never leaving the crisis state post-crisis with a direct result that the now awakened fallen empires are in a permanent alliance that is impossible to break for either party (tagswitch to them: its impossible) and permanently have the custodial attitude towards everyone, as well as most empires remaining in defensive pacts

beyond this both the unbidden and the prethoryn scourge have additional flaws that prevent them from expanding to a notable degree

For the Unbidden: their tactics are set to defensive preventing their fleets from ever leaving their territory which causes them to eventually stop expanding and stop being a threat: the unbidden also cannot expand their influence through military stations over colonies so your planets are 100% safe from them

the scourge suffers from another bug in that they currently have no way of generating armies causing them, if their armies are ever defeated be it through regular combat or through intercepting them in space (easy enough, they don't escort them) they become incapable of conquering planets causing their ships to be stuck permanently bombarding worlds allowing you to take their homeworlds from them and defeat them that way. Also they have no despawn event causing their event to never end.

I keep trying to play Vaginanigger in Eu4 but the muslims all gang up on me

Civilization is grand strategy. Making a game real-time instead of turn based and gutting half the mechanics of the game in favour of statistics and sliders you have minimal control over doesn't warrant a genre of its own.

The bug I encountered with the War in Heaven was that even after the war was over and done with and my League exterminated the FE that were at war with each other, I still got notifications that they were irate with me, despite no longer existing on the map.

The fuck are you on about?

Civilization isn't grand strategy, it's 4X. This is fact, you can't argue it. You're just misinformed.

just fuck my galactic ambitions up senpai

current converted game from CK2, how would you rate it?

fun fact byzantine empire is catholic and ruled by a french monarch, trebizond is still orthodox and has a greek ruler

In very vague terms, because it's been a while since I messed with it extensively.

Send them to steer from nearby "upstream" rich nodes where you have power towards your trade capital downstream. Your trade capital is usually also your political capital but you can change it on the province screen. Generally steering is more beneficial than collecting because each trader you have steeding trade also gives you a bonus to your trade capital as long as you're not collecting with merchants anywhere. So you basically want to have as long a stream of steering merchants as you can have, diverting the riches that flow through the system in the direction of your trade capital. Once there, the money gets divided between nations that collect there according to each of their trade power shares.

Add to that that you can use Light Ships to grab a bigger share of the trade power in a node, thus allowing you to steer/collect more from the money, and that there are specific provinces that are marked as "centers of trade" and thus give you a lot of trade power if you hold them, and you have the basics of the system.

There's no such thing as "4x" 4x is not a genre, it is a family resemblance of features in strategy games. "Grand strategy" is a designation of scale, not a genre.

do fuck off.

4x is a genre defined by those characteristic features. Grand strategy is another genre defined by different ones.

Get out with that crappy 4x halfbreed shit

what year is it?

if its before 2300 you're likely fucked, awakened empires rebuild their fleet at ludicrous speed as long as they control their homeworld

>MS Paint bucket tool simulators
Why? What is the appeal of these games?

i feel like something like this must have happened with me because they honestly just pulled back all their fleets after conquering 1/4th of the galaxy and were never seen again

they just suddenly stopped mid conquest and left

You either see it or you don't. you shouldn't force yourself though.

it was 2310, i was in a federation of 6 and the ais fleet eclipsed us anyway

fuck off nerd
