What class would you be in a fantasy world? I would probably be a mage, with my autism enhancing the effects of my spells.

>Enhancing

I feel like a paladin or maybe a D&D type cleric where they are actually competent in battle and not just sissy healers.

Probably a druid or something similar. The laid back sort who helps people lost in the forest and usually gives good advice.

Trust me, i'm a warlock

Probably a cleric with a sub-focus on scholarship. Devotion and theology are appealing, healing is appealing, converting or smiting evil is appealing, and recording new information is appealing.

Red mage, better have a spell for everything than focusing on situational skills

I like playing with knights/warriors basic melee classes, but if I were personally in one of those fantasy worlds, I'd a an archer or something similar.

Either that or a druid/necromancer/summoner/invoker or anything that could give me the ability to control a small army of creatures to do the fighting for me.

What's the difference between a wizard, mage, and sorcerer?

I'd wanna be a wizard
Spells and research for new spells in my wizard tower full of tricks and traps.

Grappler

I don't know about a difference between a mage and the other two, but a wizard studies magic and learns how to cast them while a sorcerer is born with magical power or gains it through something else.

This or White Mage if we're sticking with JRPG classes. It's pretty much the only class that I could apply the few skills I have.

Is there a class that uses swords and staves? I like to heal allies and attack and defend myself.

Let me help you out, OP.

Lemme AXE you a question real quick

Whichever has the highest mobility so I can run when shit goes wrong

healslut (male)

Alchemist.

Make mad fucking bank converting dirt into salt or some shit.

Also try (and probably fail) to become a lich.

inquisitor or paladin

Corpse of a peasant in the starting dungeon.

A Monk or Berserker. I just wanna punch stuff.

What's the janitor/handyman equivalent for RPG classes?

Mechanic or Machinist

You should respect yourself more. You could be at least knight's corpse

Why would i ever bother running around with a sharpened sheets of metal or throw fireballs when i can have a local space battlesatellite or a king of dragons at my disposal?
Summoner of course
Or a monk to punch holes in knights with my fists

>That look
This a jojo reference?

I was obsessed with swords from a young age. I'd have been whatever melee class was most convenient, I'd probably want a job change by now though.

We'd all be civilians with no specializations. Jacking it to Chinese cartoons all day hardly translates to knight, imo.

Is that how it works in games? I'm pretty sure christianity defines sorcerers as people that come into contact with spirits through the use of drugs.

i'd be the hero class from dragon warrior 4

i'd have the abilities of a knight, healer and wizard all in one

flamboyant spell sword

That's gay

Dancing Ranger.

oui'na kyo

>trying to become a lich when you could eventually get eternal life from making a philosophers stone
You would make a terrible alchemist.
Good businessman though.
People love their salt.

FFTA thief.

'Cause I'm a cheap asshole.

Blacksmith/Trader

Magic Knight

if it were a real fantasy world with real magic and monsters, I would want real world construction and engineering skills

I know that's super boring, but having a skill that is atypical for the setting is much stronger than having the same skill as everyone else

being able to build people's flushing toilets and refine oil into gasoline and build complex devices like generators would make me some kind of secret-boss-level-badass, complete with tech-castle and robot army and illuminati status

gandalf

Mediator or Oracle

I love being able to sway/charm enemies or debuff them.

Playing a RDM in FFXI was so fucking fun because of how much you could just fuck up a target with debuffs. Gravity was invaluable.

Or it could get you witch-hunted.

>not turning your semen into diamonds

Fucking pleb.

thats the tabletop definition, which is important but also arbitrary

actual 'wizards' were in fact clerics, like Jesus or Moses

and sorcery is a really old word, having the same lingual root as pharmacy, it literally meant a drug dealer

Bard. I always liked the concept of using music as magic.

sun sign is what people typically call their 'sign,' where the sun was on the ecliptic when you were born

moon sign is more particulate, and is much more hokey, closer to newspaper horoscopes in plausibility, but you never know

Demon that can posses minds/bodies

MY FAITH IS MY SHIELD

What class would you be in a superhero world?

Fallen Monk.

In the fantasy world that's nothing sopecial, now wizard/engineer combination would be critcal.
