I would go to redbox and rent the games I want then let my CFW PS3 backup the discs to the hard drive then return them to redbox so I don't get charged a lot of money. I can play the games without the disc now.

I like physical games and I like my PS3 SuperSlim.

I was in your shoes once, but it's not hard using a E3 flasher on a slim PS3. If you ever built a gaming PC, that's harder than downgrading your slim PS3.

translation patches and undubs will work on cobra, but you can't use hacked eboots or memory edit cheats like you can on CFW.

download rebug, enable all the piracy settings, install dlc package files, done.

if you're installing pkg files that were compiled directly from psn, you have to use psnstuff to decrypt them to work on your ps3.

you use the PS3 updater to download the update files, and download dlcs from file sharing sites as usual, theyre in the usual apk format
