I think you meant to post a Soulsborne image
because not everyone is a little bitch that doesnt use buffs/debuffs or fuse better demons like you OP
I don't wanna be that guy but literally just get gud.
...
I didn't know the game cheated.
Guess I'm a god then, since I won almost everytime.
Time to be rejected, user
>ITT: People defending bullshit like Mot
Sup Forums has complete shit taste in videogames but it somehow managed to obtain a hivemind to praise their "good" games over and over again. Did you ever see a SMT thread discussing mechanics or anything gameplay related? No, it's all memes all the time about my HOI and MATADOR SO STRONK BUT CASUL SINCE I KILLED HIM!
I bet you're playing on normal(easy) mode too
git gud
Like with many difficult games, the beginning is literally the hardest part of the game.
After tons of buffs and debuffs become readily available the difficulty drops dramatically.
>started replaying it today
>been kicking everythings ass left and right
Get gud or get fucked.
>I didnt play the game
Mot's odds of fucking you over like in the meme is actually very low, even if you get fucked by RNG you should be able to survive 2 of his AoE attack at that level
>use zio
>win
wow so hard
>Guess I'm a god then
GET HIM BOYS
>Guess I'm a god then
Go away DJ Scratch.
>I saw a video of a guy getting blown up while 30 levels lower than he should have been and on hard mode, trust me guys
a question but does luck really do nothing in nocturne?
It effects how often you crit and possibly other things that involve RNG, I think.
...
>I don't like this game so I'm going to cry to Sup Forums about it!
If you don't like it then don't fucking play it.
I think the only thing it actually helps with that is substantial is it makes the 1hit ko mudo skills have a less likely chance to hit the demifriend.
making you crit more is nice but is easier to win by using enemy weaknesses against themselves.
The way the press turn combat works nullifies luck more than what the luck stat does. Its just more efficient to pick str for demi stats and constantly keep a good demon team together than it is to spend any amount of time putting points in luck.
The guy in the video was extremtely underleveled and playing on hard.
The best part is seeing the threads daily, knowing its the same fucker getting insanely assblasted, making a thread, getting blown out in said thread, brooding over his shame, saying he'll give it another shot, then coming back the next day to make the same thread after failing AGAIN.
Its the purest form of schadenfreude
World of strength.
BY THE GRACE OF GOD!
Why is nocturne getting so much hate lately anyway? Is it just because it was released on the psn and new people have started playing it?
I never put a single point into it and I got crits often enough.
What I wanna know is, does MAG really increase your magic defense?
>casualries
probably not too far off. My guess is its someone from here that heard it was a difficult game and thought they would try it for some Sup Forums cred. Then utterly failed to understand how it works intrinsically and will make threads about how we hurt him personally until he finds a new game to stroke his little epeen over. Hopefully he'll find one that he can beat. I heard the new Nier game will have autocombat you can't lose in, maybe he should wait for that.
Why is Walter best bro?
WE'LL SACRIFICE THE SUN OF HEAVEN
ONE MORE SCRUB REJECTED
>disregard damaging spells
>only have buffs and debuffs
>punch to win
>nocturne
>hard
How bad is PAL version?
Are freezes constant, £8 at a CeX.
Probably the Monster Hunter trick of a fan shitposting about the series to start discussion.
Apocalypse has brung a lot of new fans in so there's a bit of life in the series now instead of it being just Purseowner.
Fuckin' Kek'd my lad
Why worry about defense when ya got null everything.
Atlus has never made a good game. They design games for cucks that want to punish their life.
Is it really even a game if you can't lose? at that point it would basically just become a walking Sim, and that shit doesn't sound fun
It is an optional setting that can only be used on the easy difficulty (probably locking content out) and is being lambasted by industry vets that feel the same way as you.
I only used it as an example to insult someone I will never meet, and whose very existence means nothing.
Shin Megami Tensei 3 on Hard is not even a hard game. It's only challenging if you're too stupid to play an SMT game. Persona 5 on Hard is harder. On Challenge Mode, P5 is actually harder than any previous ATLUS game barring perhaps Apocalypse.
That makes sense. I guess shit posts do gain more traction here
What is almighty damage?
A lot a SFV threads start as shitposting and then lobbies starts getting hosted. It's kind of cool, in a way.
a slight speed bump. I'm using the all party full heal every turn, and using almighty damage back at you. And my weakness isn't almighty so no flashys for you.
Well getting hit with a mind charged megidolaon certainly hurts, but its not like any demon is weak against almighty, so if the enemy uses it you can just heal and get on with it since they won't get any press turns
He starts as a casualry just like the player. Its natural you get more attached to him than any other character. Also WORLD OF STRENGTH AND HOYS
Prove it
Death Flies nigga
Except during Minotaur fight when he spammed Agi and fucked my strategy of spamming Bufu until Minotaur was dead.
Isn't that only usable by one boss in the whole game? and if you have null death on your party it basically just becomes your standard almighty attack
I'LL END IT THUS
Yesterday, Petrification+Hit instantly killed me despite Endure, which was kinda bullshit. Other than that, the game is incredibly fair and fun to play, though.
I'm not sure how you expect me to prove that? Do you want me to show you footage of P5 bosses or something? When you play the game, you will see that I'm right.
All I can tell you is that on Hard mode in Persona 5, you will die. Multiple times. Almost every single dungeon will probably kill you with a random encounter. Very likely you will die at least once at every Palace boss.
On Normal the game isn't that Hard, but on Hard P5 is harder than Nocturne I would say, it's a steep shift. The boss in that picture (Futaba's mom, Wakaba) was pretty hard, if I hadn't fused a demon with physical reflect I would have died.
I beat SMT3 on my first try on Hard and got True Demon Ending. All I'm saying is that Persona 5 on Hard is as Hard if not harder than that, Challenge mode is definitely harder than Nocturne.
I remember almost nothing from late game nocturne but neither version of belzebub are any challenge. Mot hit me with his no win scenario but I just laughed at the insanity of it. I think Nidhoggar was the only big demon I had trouble with.
I didn't finish Amala or play on hard though. I wanna replay but someone stole my first print run and I bought a second run copy to replace it and hear nothing but freezing freezing freezing so I just shitpost with 10 year old memories that might not even be real any more.
I beat Mot first try. Just press your turn, retard.
>All I can tell you is that on Hard mode in Persona 5, you will die. Multiple times. Almost every single dungeon will probably kill you with a random encounter. Very likely you will die at least once at every Palace boss.
I hope you are telling the truth user, cant fuckin wait
Speaking of the PSN release, the EU PSN release is unbeatable. The game crashes everytime you beat Kagutsuchi, so you can never get the Lucifer fight.
Good to hear.
Managed to beat Daisoujou on first try. About to head into Nilho. Any demons I should have or other things to do before I storm in with Mantra?
>goro is only usable for one dungeon
FUCKING WHY?
Momunofu
Oh wait never mind I got the events mixed up, I was recommending Momunofu for Dante
You should be fine with whatever
Well, I'm just speaking from my experience. I was shocked by how quickly I died in the first and second dungeons of this game. I invited a friend over to watch me play Sae's dungeon, he was shocked that if I didn't sneak up behind the demon and got surrounded instead, it would almost guarantee death. He said he couldn't believe it was a Persona game, it looked much more like Nocturne in terms of gameplay. Some of the co-operations are more important than others, such as your teacher. I will say this: if you use the cooperations smartly (abilities like copying skill cards, making sure all your teammates have up to level 4 or higher so you can baton pass, use critical specials etc.) it will make the game easier. If you understand all the systems in the game (which took me a while), the game can be exploited easier. But even despite this, it is still a challenge. The gameplay is very fast paced and just exploring the dungeons and solving puzzles is very fun, much better designed dungeons than P3 or P4 by miles.
Here's a review someone made that kind of sums it up, talking about how it's more like SMT3 than P3 or P4. If you want give it a watch: youtube.com
Goro is a character who almost is too strong, easily the strongest teammate in the game. He's basically like another protagonist. When you first get him he is all almight, light/dark spells. I actually kind of hated him for most of the game, but once he joins your party he's just straight up fabulous.
Already used Momunofu for him. Demifiend and Momunofu alternating Focus'd lunges made quick work of Dante.
Should I keep the Oni I made from him, or grab another and evolve it to Arahabaki?
Nocturne isn't even hard
Are you speaking about playing it on Normal or Hard?
Doesn't make a difference. Even on Hard it's one of the most overblown games on Sup Forums. The fact that Sup Forums thinks Nocturne is some incredibly challenging game speaks volumes about how bad most people on this website are at video games.
Good thing I'm getting the American version then
Welcome to SMT games, where you can steamroll bosses then walk 10 feet and die to a random battle.
You want bullshit, wait for the Mot fight
Mot really isn't all that bad. You have to be pretty unlucky to get stuck in his loop. I had more trouble with some of the fiends. Trumpeter was a dick.
loved this and the eva one
would i like this game?
examples of jrpgs i like: secret of mana, seiken densetsu 3, chrono trigger, grandia 2, skies of arcadia
examples of what i dont like: final fantasy
I can think of no harder JRPGs.
Then maybe you should play more than three jrpgs.
Give me an example.
Probably, you might find Digital Devil Saga an easier entry point into the series though, as it has a traditional JRPG party system instead of the usual SMT monster catching
Dark Souls
Guys, what's the main character's name. I bought this game like a year ago and want to play it but got stuck at the "name him" screen because I can't find his cannon name. In fact, I don't think I've ever seen anyone call him an actual name.
Demifiend
I'm playing this right now. My main problem with this game isn't difficulty, but all these fuckhuge empty dungeons with useless loot and encounters every two steps. Also puzzles aren't even clever, they're just straight up annoying. I thought I would be hooked up for a while, but I'm just playing one dungeon at a time while taking a few day breaks.
Hitoshura
Hitoshura or Demi-Fiend
It honestly baffles me that people complain about the difficulty and scarcity of save points in this game. It's meant to be hard (making good use of the press turn system and buffs/debuffs) and the scarcity of save points makes you fight each battle like the next might be your last. It's just that type of game, what is with people being such pussies.
"Canon name" doesn't fit anywhere. Name him whatever.
without what i said about rpgs, is that what you would still suggest?
He is called this in the game: He is called this in accompanying material: as long as your are beating face in with your bare fists you can call him whatever you want.
Thanks anons. I'll make something up with this in mind.
>do new game plus for Nocturne
>there's no fusion limit now
This would be nice if I had some macca/death stones.
Yeah, DDS is great
So, what the hell happened to google image search?
A lot of people recommend what he said, but personally I disagree. I found DDS less fun than Nocturne. It's really up to personal preference.
die
sounds like you like good gameplay so i think you'll like it.
YOU'LLNEVERSEEIT
It's based on the "butt ranged/autism" macros.
I agree I found DDS really lacklustre after Nocturne.
Any EO game. Megaten games are easy in general. If you think that they're hard, that means you're not paying enough attention to figure out their simple ass mechanics.
Which version of Nocturne is the one that let's me hold hands with Chiaki?
Couldn't finish this game because I got lost and didn't know where to go, I took a week long break and that just made things even worse so it's basically unplayable from my save point, don't know if I'll ever feel like playing it from the beginning again.
