I have been playing it for a week, and I already have all characters unlocked plus a huge surplus of gold I don't know what to do with.
But the game's balance is wrack right now, and cheaters are not a rare sight either.
At least the maps are generally better than Overwatch's because the maps ruined it for me.
Tried it out, was pleasantly suprised. Ultimates dont completely fuck the game, and in 3 games i had enough gold to buy half the heroes. Good shit, will play with poorfag friends and have fun

Battleborn has 100 % accurate hitboxes, no casual one shot ult and completely different heroes. And this is a problem. Every pro can kill the whole casual enemy team, because Battleborn has the highest skill ceiling in MOBA history.
It's sad that Battleborn is just too hard for the average gamer. In Overwatch and Paladins you can't easily stump the enemy team solo, but in Battleborn you either git gud or get fucked.

What matters are the matches where I curbstomp all of them.
You play against bots until level 5.
The gameplay is pretty much the same but paladins has a bit more to it. You use decks of cards to customize your playstyle and there are items to buy in a match that give you benefits like 10% faster cooldowns or 30% reduced healing against the enemy. Cards like the healing and shield breaking ones are pretty good for balance since it prevents tanks and healers from running the game like they do in overwatch. It's also a bit faster since you get horses when you respawn and every character has some sort of mobility option. And finally, ults don't run matches and most of them are pretty underwhelming when compared to the ones in overwatch.
Design wise he's shit but it kind of looks like he's going to just be a better cassie, who is already top tier. I guessing he and Cassie will go through some changes over time.

I had over 200 hours in OW and dropped it completely for Paladins once I gave it a fair shake. Tanks and supports are actually fun to play and don't feel like a shitty chore like they do in OW, and damage dealers can actually carry shitters. Also doesn't feel as ult dependent as OW which is a plus. I'll go back to OW once HiRez inevitably fucks up Paladins beyond repair like they almost always do.
there are also differences in gameplay. Like you cant switch champions mid match or Attack and Defend are depending on who capped the point first.
And so far the only thing you get with the ingame paid currency are customizables. You can buy other champions with crystals, yes, but you can also purchase those with the free ingame currency, which you get way to much from. Seriously, play like 20 matches and you have every character already

Actually as long as they change him so he has to aim before shooting, he should be a little more engaging to play as.
Right now, if you look down the sights, you can hit people who are completely hidden behind walls because your bullets get little magnets or some shit.
He doesn't do more damage than Cassie, not at all, he needs to actually use his bow like it was a bow, Cassie's acts more like a semi automatic rifle.

He lacks the mobility and dueling power that Cassie offers and his abilities are more situational than Cassie's across the board. He doesn't really encroach upon her space at all and your only basis for thinking so is the fact that they both use a bow, which is idiotic. Hell Cassie doesn't even use a bow, that thing is a scopeless rifle.
