If your talking about FPS then YES OP is right. COD4 won over 70 awards to date this is more then any other game in the genre only a few games like Skyrim surpass the amount of accolades COD4 has.

BO2 was better then BO

BO had boring map design aside from Nuketown, the shotguns were mostly unusable garbage, and explosives were awful.

Not to mention Black Ops 1 looked outdated as fuck because of the engine.

It's a fun game but BO2 was just better. The maps were better and lent to faster paced matches, the guns were all fun to use and the balance was on-point.

WaW was successful, it's just that MW and MW2 were even more successful.

WW2 was already played out so they moved to Vietnam.

We already had 4 WW2 games up until that point, it was time to let it rest.

Kind of. It was a really strong SMG but it'd get shit on by the semi autos and the .30 cal the further you move away from that 50 damage range.
