Defend this

Bubsy was a mistake.

Defend your screenshot's absurd resoultion and your thread's complete lack of content?

No. Fuck off.

Post it. You know what I'm talking about.

No.

>SNES
The Genesis version was alright

no you

Why the fuck would anyone defend Bubsy?

i need sauce, only if is porn

At least it was better than Bubsy 3D

Bubsy himself was actually kinda endearing. He had a variety of sprites with well-rendered expressions.

I think it says a lot that they seemingly put most of their resources into elaborate death animations

It's not unplayable by any stretch of the imagination, and the presentation is way better than pretty much any other western Sonic ripoff.

The game is ruined by one-hit deaths.
It could have easily been fixed if Bubsy had a life system like Sonic does, where you can't die from enemies as long as you have one yarn ball on you. I'm surprised no one has ever tried to hack such a feature in.

It's not a terrible game. A mediocre game, certainly, maybe even a bad game. But it's not terrible.

what's wrong with OP's pic?

I really enjoyed it as a kid and the only issue I had with it was that it was really hard.

I got to as far as the train/dessert can't remember which one is further, but I enjoyed it

Saving the thread.

...

Don't need to, it's a great game.

The japanese cover is pretty cute.

>he didn't like bubsy
Absolute pleb filter to be honest.

The level design offers a lot of freedom as to what path you can take to complete a level, and you can move at fairly high speeds.

Would've been a good game if not for 1 touch deaths.

>The Super NES version is the only game in the Bubsy series to be released in Japan, under the title Yamaneko Bubsy no Daibōken. The Super Famicom version is virtually identical to its Super NES counterpart, except that Bubsy's voice was re-recorded in Japanese.
Neat,
