Not another mouse thread

So my Rival 300 almost died yesterday. She is like 2 years old or so now, but luckily I got her fixed by screwing her open and checking the click switches. Now I am worried which mouse I should get next when that one fateful day comes where there is nothing left to fix.
I don't know if I should stay with steelseries or try something new.

What mice can you anons recommend?
Where should I read reviews?

These are some features I'd like to have on a mouse:
-not too many buttons, 5 would be enough for me
-dpi is irrelevant as long as I can use 400
-high polling rate
-an optical sensor would be neat
-minimal input lag

>dpi is irrelevant as long as I can use 400

>using anything lower than 800
Low mouse cpi can cause tracking issues/pixel skipping

>high polling rate
Another meme used to sell GAMER GEAR
500 is all you need, 1000 takes unnecessary processing power and can cause coursor jitter

That being said I would recommend G403 wired

get this mate

whatever you do, don't buy a razor like other idiots.

You might as well put some mouse emulation app on your tablet or phone and use that as a "mouse".

Also,

ec2a, fk2 or whatever you like shape wise.
I'm currently using a ec2a, no drivers, most comfortable mouse i have ever used.

ducky secret

Didn't want to in the first place. Razer is selling a lifestyle, just like apple.

Does your graphic proof Logitechs are pretty good?

There pretty good.

I've used a g400, g400s, EC2-A, Deathadder13 and a rival 100.
I prefer the g400s to all of the others. Why the s over the normal one? The wire connection got reinforced on the mouse side, so it doesn't break with heavy use and honestly I'm not bothered by the tacticool paintjob (which by the way is more subtle in person than on the images).

>mice with rubber grip
Disgusting

Mionix Castor, best shape on a mouse

Old one is grimy as fuck because it's five years old.

M6900's are cheap as fuck and last ridiculously long and you just plug it in and use it straight away and get a quality mouse that big brands would try to milk £60-£80 for.

do you even clean your shit? you're disgusting.

>typical pcfat hygiene

Nigga please. Like you've never seen a dirty controller before.

Had the meme mouse as long as I can remember, before Sup Forums was bandwagoning for it. It feels good, is durable and has enough buttons.

g pro or g403 are your only options if you play fps games

It is the same joke.

Thoughts on the new Deathadder Elite?

Don't buy a G5.

I'm on my 4th G5... they're nice while they last but the same fucking problem has happened with every one of them - the left click starts fucking up. Will double click, stick, or just not recognise that you're holding it in. Awful for games with lots of left clicking.

It can be fixed by opening it up and going through the fiddly task of reshaping the tiny metal contact, but you could easily fuck it up and the mouse screws are under the sticky pads so you have to remove them which can ruin them.

definitely switching brands when I get a total new setup in janurary.
