Defend inventory tetris in 20 words or less

Defend inventory tetris in 20 words or less.

FUN

It's satisfying to organize

100x better to manage than endless scrolling lists.

It's fun.

Saved you fourteen words.

it's fun and makes pretty good sense, realistically

it pleases my ocd

nice relaxing time out of comfy tetrising appeasing my OCD

It's a more immersive experience.

An inventory with visually represented space is a great way to keep you in character.

It's fine.

Forces you to manage

Casual deterrent

...

I think it is enjoyable

came here to post this

best way to handle limited storage for items

...

it's FUN

Listen here.
Its tetris. In your inventory..

Mind blown brah!

You can see everything at once

It makes more sense.

How the hell does a machinegun take up the same amount of space as an egg?

...

Better quality

>exactly 20 words

Nice

It detracts you from from the fact that you don't matter, anything you ever do is useless pointless BULLSHIT, that your face is a joke, and that, realistically, you should have cut down both streets a long time ago, for a little bit.

>Defend inventory tetris in 20 words or less.
Do you just randomly bash everything you have into your backpacks and baggages or do you take the time to systematically fold and fit things into them? Same thing sempai.

i like the idea of a volume-based inventory rather than weight-based

weight can be managed, size cannot

It allows devs to create breakpoints for the player to pass through in building their character.

It makes a ton of sense from a design standpoint, but it is also a lazy way to do this.

Adds another gameplay element, almost like a puzzle mini-game.

> but it is also a lazy way to do this.
would you explain why?
Programming for a tetris inventory takes more effort than coding a simple list inventory.

It's realistic for starters, and adds depth to something otherwise completely negligible.

It's only fun in RE4.

feels good man

>20 words or less
what?

What kind of argumentative fallacy is this? It feels kinda like goalposting except it's more of a box

ORGASMIC

Are herbs considerably different in RE4 than they were in previous games? I remembered that red herbs did nothing themselves and did nothing when combined with blue (anti-poison) at the time. It was just that red+green recovered more HP than just red alone.

Why would you not immediately combine every red herb with a green herb to save inventory room, if that is the case?

I like it.

Oh fuck, there's a revolver?
Just got Ashley, first time through.

>like goalposting except it's more of a box
Goalboxing?

I just didn't give a FUCK
ye boi

Yup there is, and like most RE games it's one of the best weapons

>first time through.
You're in for a ride,man.
Also, revolver is one of the best in the game

There were no blue herbs in RE4, first of all.

Secondly, R+G meant Max Health, R+Y meant Health + Permanent Extra Health, G+G meant health, G + G + G meant even more health, and finally, R+Y+G meant Max Health + Perma Extra Health

You can combine R + Y but you can't consume it.

makes hoarding a bit difficult but very satisfying at the same time

Game?

Reflect upon this game's terrible fucking inventory system, then get back to me on based tetris inventories.

Reds can only be used when combined with green, same story with blue herbs.

Yellow increases the max health, but also can only be used whem mixed with green.

It kinda rustles my jimmies a little when some players don't upgrade Ashley's health. There's enough yellow herbs to max out both characters before the end of the game, so why not?

My reasoning was why waste the green herbs. I saved the yellow herbs for when she actually got wounded, but ended up beating the game before I could use them all anyway.

More immersive, which is important when a game is an RPG.

Makes you prioritize what you need and when you get upgrades to expand the inventory it feels good.

Crystal Method: Filename of the Game

I never needed it.Ashley didn't die once in my playthrough.

Fucking kill me I didn't look ;_;

Puts a limit on your inventory while being less arbitrary than a hard weight limit.

Makes more sense than sword taking up same space as berry.

>Defend
can't. it's indefensible trash

Actually I think it's good. Much better than having an arbitrary weight limit when you can carry 10 or 20 greatswords but not 100 greatswords. Obviously something like Deus Ex doesn't have realistic inventory spaces but it's more... I hate to use this words but.. immersive and easier suspension of disbelief.

>Inventory is a single big space
>Not having superior shoulder inventories
